GIFT FOR THE CAST! please help out!

DETAILS ABOUT A GIFT TO OUR DANNY AND SANDY...MAX AND LAURA!

Here's my plan. I want to get everyone together to make a book to
mail to Max and Laura at the theatre. It will be compiled of pages by us
to wish them a good run with their show.

Rules
1. The page must be able to print out on an 8.5" x 11" sheet either
portrait or landscape.
2. .pdf format is preferred (use http://pdfonline.com). I will also
accept .doc, .bmp, and .jpg.
3. You may include your nbc.com username.
4. You may include your name, address (in hopes of receiving a letter back), city, state, and age. Please no phone numbers.
5. Please feel free to make a page for Max and Laura together. If you
choose to make individual ones, please make one for each of them.
6. You are welcome to make pages for any of the other cast members as
well.
7. NO VULGAR LANGUAGE OR IMAGES! I hold the right to not send your
page if I find it inappropriate.
8. Feel free to include pictures. The possibilities are endless. You
can type letters or make a flyer type piece. Everything is accepted
from simple notes to amazing Photoshop masterpieces.
9. Please e-mail pages to me at greasegift@yahoo.com by July 1st.

I will print the pages and mail a binder full of them to the theatre
shortly before the first preview. This is just to let them know we are
very proud and love them. Whether you are going to see the show or not,
whether you are a fan of the winners or not, whether you love the show
or not, I encourage you to take part in this project to make the Grease
round 3 debut AMAZING!

What you really mean is a gift for Max and Laura. There are other people in the cast, a lot of talented hard working actors without whom there would be no show.

you are totally able to make pages for the other cast members too (point 6 on the directions)

every contribution will be put in the book unless its vulgar or perocative

if u want to make ones for the supporting cast...feel free! it will be great!

This is a great idea, and I hope it will be a great encouragement to Max and Laura (and the whole Grease cast) to know that they have fans that are supporting them, even though they may not be there that night!
Please continue to submit pages! I just sent in mine!

I asked people in my new post to contribute pages as Awesome Aunties. I forgot that you posted the instructions here so I sent them to maxcrumm.com so either way you should get some more pages. Sorry! But hopefully it will help if they here it from more than one person.smile

we are at 30 pages...and now with the extention...hopefully we can hit 50!

i'm planning on putting the pages on line. i'll block out all last name and addresses, but just so everyone can see the hard work put into it.

Kari, you should check out the most recent post from a 55 year old doctor.  His letter is wonderful and you should ask him to include it in your book.  The kids would love it.

i sent it on the 14th but still havent heard back

i'm still trying to compile it all to get it on line. its not as easy as i thought since they are all pdf's. haha

when i go tuesday night i'm going to ask them if they got it during the autograph signing. hopefully they loved it. i don't see how they couldnt...everyone did such a great job!

     When you went to see the show on tuesday were you able to find out whether or not Max and Laura received our gift(s) and, if so, did they like it?

I got this in an e-mail from Kari a couple of days ago...  Sounds like they liked it !!  I thought she sent the e-mail to everyone who contributed, but maybe only if you included your private e-mail address, which I did.

Hey everyone,
   I went to Grease last night and it was amazing!  At the autograph signing I asked them both about the book and they said it was awesome!  Max said "it was the coolest thing" and Laura couldn't stop saying thanks.  I just wanted to thank you all for helping out.  We sent 55 pages and it was a success! 
   Thanks again and enjoy the show!
