Are Max & Laura Aware...	Permalink Closed

...that soon they may have to 'give up' their roles to someone else?? You know, like how the original Tracy in "Hairspray" (Marissa Jaret Winokur) had to give up her role to someone else after a while? Do Max & Laura know that? Or will they not have to give up the roles? __________________

Laura and Max's contracts are for one year right now. What will happen after that year is still unknown. NBC has a one-year right to each of them sometime after this show, but it's possible their one year with "Grease" could be extended and they could work with NBC later. Or NBC could potentially elect to NOT exercise their right to them too--who knows? At any rate, it is possible Laura and Max could move on to other things after their year is up and give up their roles to someone else--or they could stay. We will have to wait and see.
