Nope, not me. I wish!

It doesn't have a closing date, it's open-ended. Meaning when sales get low enough, it will close.

Has anyone heard if there's gonna be student rush or lotto? Because there might be good seats available then.

I will be at opening night and I am VERY excited to go!

Nothing has been announced about student rush. You may have a wait a bit for that.

Closing dates are only posted on shows that have a limited engagement. All other shows are listed as open ended.

Laura gets 3 tickets for opening night so her husband, her dad, and I are going.  We are desperately wanting a 4th ticket for her stepdad (my husband) to go too but it is not looking very positive at this time for that to happen. Max's family is also wanting a 4th ticket if anyone knows anything about ANY extra tickets for that show.  Laura's stepdad has a ticket right now for the matinee show Aug 19, but the opening night show is the EVENING show on Aug. 19--a fact we did not know until after Laura started rehearsals.  There is nothing on any of the websites about the evening show. That leads me to think ALL tickets for that show are pre-assigned to cast, critics, and friends of the production staff.  Am I right about that?

I have never seen openning night tickets up for sale. I assume that as you said they are all assigned to special guests, media, etc.

someone suggested you might try Broadway cares. here is the link http://bcefa-tix.stores.yahoo.net/caretix.html

as copied from there site:

We saved the best seats in the house - for you!

Beat the crowds and avoid the hassles of long theatre lines to get the very best seats in the house (normally reserved for people in the entertainment industry). BC/EFA's Care-Tix program offers you house seats for theatrical and select non-theatrical New York events, Equity national tours and concerts.  See shows on and Off-Broadway even when they're sold out to the general public. Call 212-840-0770 and ask for Care-Tix
