Many of the main cast have run out quite rapidly and Disappeared. Kristen Wyatt (Frenchy) has been the only one that actually came out from behind the gates and mingled with the crowd, posed for pictures and signed autographs asking of anyone else wanted anything without running off as if it was too much to handle. She was a great sport. Max and Laura always hang around but only because if it weren't for the people waiting for them, they wouldn't be on Broadway today. I may also mention that Kristen Wyatt actually does have her hair highlighted in a reddish color in real life. She was a pleasure to talk to and wasn't one to just sign for the sake of signing, she cares about the fact that people enjoyed her performance. I couldn't ask for more class than that.

Know ehat u mean, when u finishthe show u just want to go home, and relax, but I also understand u, u really want to talk with people that u admire, that's true... I hope I'll talk with someone when I'll go to see the show, specially with Laura, Max and Allison Actually It's a long way from Spain...
Only Ms. Wyatt? I don't know which show you have been to, but I have been to the show 3 times now and all three times (including opening night when it was raining!) most of the cast stops to sign autographs and take pictures.
It makes sense that the stage door experience might be different from day to day. The cast is made up of humans who might be unbearably tired on a given night or who might have any number of situations that make it difficult for them to stick around for too long after a show. I know the cast is signing after the show at least part of the time, because I've seen the pics. I imagine that they do the best they can.
Maria, in your case I hope you are able to see the ones you want to see. Spain to NY is quite a distance!
When I was at the stagedoor after the two performances I saw, every cast member (Except one, but I won't mention names), was gracious and I don't think anyone actually rushed out.

Thanks, Music Man, for the link. It's just like being there. I am going to the show on Sept 12, and soon will be seeing max at stage door in person! Can't wait!
These are pics of other cast members we took. In our two visits, we did get autographs from almost everyone, but not as many pics. Everyone in the cast was so nice.
Jose (Sonny)--a big hit with my Super and my girls
Not to worry, no one gets trampled. Despite all the yellingg that the handler was doing, if you look at the crowd, you can see they were not pushing or shoving but in control. Really on that first tape it was the handler who was disorganized. Screaming for people to move back when there was no where to move to. I was in the back, last row so to speak....a step back would have put me either in the garbage bags, the barricade or the pathway of cars going down 47 th street. Still we were eventually able to make our way to the front as people made way for others after they got their autograph etc.
A few photos from the stage door yesterday - will post more later. And I will post my views on the show, which for the short version, I thought was terrific! Had a great time! Only a few of the cast came out after the show, so not too many. However, I took some photos today and will be putting some of those up later.
Cool pics!!!!! I'm one of the girls who runs Allison's and Laura's spanish fansite, and I'd like to ask u if we can use ur photos of laura and Allison for the site
