I was wondering if we could start a fresh new topic on Grease.  Anyone out there who is new to the forum, veteran, who has been to the show or is just a fan, please post a positive comment for Max, Laura, any of the the cast, Kathleen Marshall. Your experiences at the show, favorite moments of the show, sitings, fun info.... Just a suggestion....

I just wanted to add that I saw "Hairspray" last night (at the movies) which was fab, but I couldn't help thinking about the Grease spillover in that movie.  Travolta as Edna, Michelle Pfieffer  (I kept seeing her in her pink ladies jacket from Grease 2, in my head).  I loved it, so great!!

I think this should be for 'fans' of the show or cast members/creative teams, and if you're here to bash the show...go do it where people don't like the show. Woo. No really, if you have something negative or not-so-nice to say, please do it nicely. So we can keep the peace smile.gif

Random factoid:

This is Kimberly Grigsby's second show with Kathleen Marshall.

She musical directed and conducted (in a backless shirt and long flowing skirt) Marshall's Two Gentlemen of Verona: the Musical starring Norm Lewis, Rosario Dawson, and Renee Elise Goldsberry in Central Park in Summer, 2005.

Excellent show.

True. I don't mind any non-fans, as long as they aren't blatantly rude, please =) I do like reading why others don't enjoy the show, as long as they are fair and such. That is all. I ramble too much. Oops. =X

Yep I agree. It is about courtesy respect and kindness. I can always find something positive to say. Since I haven't seen the show I just want to say that I think it was really inspired for Kathleen Marshall to cast so many faces that are new to Broadway I don't know for sure but I'd be willing to bet that it has helped develop a feeling of friendship and the "We're in this together" mindset.smile
