Was this coat effort an all-of- Broadway effort? Pretty great accomplishment! It's great the actors find a lot of ways to give back to the community. They already give a lot by entertaining us, but these efforts are very meaningful and this coat effort will help an awful lot of people!

It was a Good Morning America sponsored drive - daily, they invited various people and companies from "the neighborhood" to drop some coats. Grease, obviously, was featured today, Mamma Mia! a few weeks ago, the local workers from Red Lobster down the block...and then they invited the public to donate, by keeping the bin inside the studio for people to drop their own coats in.

aww that was so nice! What a way to get publicity lol!
It was cheesy but I know most of us most likely wish we were in that audience - and what else were they supposed to do?
