I thought it would be nice to let the TH fans in on some of our favorites. I have listed some of mine, let them know some of yours.
The "Today Show" audience is always fun, the top of Rockefeller Center, Central Park, I have always enjoyed the Grey Line bus tours. They are so informative and you can get off for example to see Ground Zero and Battery Park. From Battery Park you board the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, one of my personal favorites. China Town, Little Italy, Greenwich Village and Bleeker St. Soho and of course, Times Square and Empire State Building. You can also take the bus or subway anywhere in Manhatten. Two dollars can take you just about anywhere (on the subway). The Grey Line tour bus is about $37.50 for one day. I think they also have a night tour. You can Google any topic you want before you go, NY transportation, Grey Line Tours, History Channel Tours, Museums, Statue of Liberty Tours, Rockefeller Center Tours. You can even take a dinner cruise around Manhatten or take a ferry free to Staten Island just for kicks. Have fun but get out there. I personally have seen Young Frankenstein, recommend it, Wicked, recommend it and Hairspray, recommend it. I would also like to see Jersey Boys and South Pacific.
Thanks for that pinkfan. Some of the groups going have members who are familiar with the city and some do not, so any hints, suggestions, or tips are appreciated.:)
