Hi Everybody, I just wanted to chime in on a totally positive note. I will never forget how kind you all were to me. Several of you said you would help pay my way to New York to see Max and Laura in Grease. That really touched me! Even though we have had our disagreements I have "met" some really good people here. It speaks volumes to me that people who have never laid eyes on me would want to do such a wonderful thing. I also wanted to tell you all that I am going to the Phillipines for two weeks on a mission trip. We are going to work with school age kids, feeding a meal to them. It is something our congregation has been doing at a distance for years, now I get to do it up close and personal. We are also going to take some food to the streets for the folks there. We will go and bring hope and light to a womens prison and teach at a womens conference. I am very excited but not thrilled about the 12 hour time difference and 16 hours on a plane but it will be worth every penny to know that we have brought light and hope to a dark place in the lives of adults and children alike.Just wanted to share that with you all and hope you are doing well. The last several months have not been easy for a lot of folks on this board but it is so encouraging to know that there are so many truly good, caring people who do what they can to leave the world a better place than it was when they came in to it! God Bless you all!!!

Wow Reniefan, you are wonderful! I'm very excited for you----I know you will have an awesome and joyous time. It will definitely be worth it, no question. Having done a 15 and a half hour airplane flight to Sydney, Australia last summer, I can tell you that you will make it through that plane ride and you will definitely have memories to last forever. God bless you and please let us know how the trip goes!!
Irene, I'm glad you remembered. I think what you are doing is a wonderful thing and can only be done by a wonderful person. As for the first part of your post, thats what wonderful people do for each other. Have a safe trip and be sure to write when you get the chance. TAKE CARE!!!!!!!
Thanks Hello, I will write when I have the chance. It may be awhile. A 12 hour time difference may take some readjusting when I get back. I even took two extra days off work to reacclimate.
