Thanks for posting this. It sounds like Taylor is loving the Broadway stage. I think this small part was a perfect start for him and maybe down the road he'll be able to try something larger. It sure sounds like he's interested in doing that. smile.gif

Loved this interview. It's a pleasure to read an article where the author doesn't ask the same old questions, or appear to have an "agenda." It's also nice when they ask questions that allow TH's genuine personality to come through.

I must admit my initial reaction to him taking on "Teen Angel" was "are you kidding me?" I figured he'd lose all the credibility he'd worked so hard for in the "real" music world. But then I heard him speak about the role, and saw how genuinely happy he was, and I signed right up for a seat on the "Grease" bandwagon - and I haven't been disappointed in the ride! In the interview, when asked about being lonely, he answers that he's always considered his band and the musicians he tours with as his family, and that's how it is with this "Grease" cast - they're like family. Well, that's the real Taylor Hicks speaking from the heart, and that's good enough for me.

Anyway, if I ever get anxious about him getting back to "real" music, I'll just pull up this interview and read it again. Then I'll sit right back down on that bandwagon, before someone else steals my seat!
