Well, the wisdom of that casting change escapes me, but if it sells tickets...

First of all Daughtry's too damn ugly to be on that stage and second, no Teen Angel wears belt-chains and guy-liner. Heh! And two, Taylor doesn't wear a wig - that's his own teased & powered hair.

 That Is some powerful hair.aww

Who do you think you are to pass that judgment... you have no say of saying if someone is too ugly or not...

I saw Matthew at the end of March. He's really good. Looked like a young Buntrock.

How many days in advance do you think the box office will know if TH is really on or not on July 3rd? I would love to see Matthew again in the role.

I read on another forum that several people got tickets for tomorrow's show in exchange for the ones today.

There are certain rules that apply. I think a person's name has to be above the title in order to get a refund or exchange.

Generally, the name has to be above the title to get a refund.

But given the fact that Taylor's photo adorns the signage outside the theater, I see no reason why they wouldn't give refunds or exchanges.

From the box office "chick". If you present the ticket to the gate you can get a refund. If you want to reuse the ticket , you can do so for a Tuesday or Thursday evening or a Wednesday or Sunday matinee. This is provided they can fit you in ( theatre not sold out ).

wow they offer refunds? i was at a show once and max was out, they gave me past date tickets. i still have yet to use them because i just could never work it out to go on one of the days required since i am from out of town. and when i did try to come up it was a mess, and i wound up having to just buy new tickets.

Matthew is decent, i saw him play Danny a few months ago :)

I don't know what that means, but them Taylor crazy fans sure did get sensitive when I posted my review of Grease. I didn't realize we weren't allowed to say anything negative about Taylor on the Grease forums. confused.gif

There is nothing negative to say about Taylor. He's doing fine on Broadway and not singing in a food court.smile.gif

I could name at least 115 negative things about his performance as Teen Angel.
I don't know what food has to do with anything.

How can one name at least 115 negative things about Taylor's performance when one hasn't seen him, and has no intentions of going to see Grease? wink.gif

Will you guys PLEASE stop sniping at each other?  This is ridiculous.  I did see Taylor in Grease and I refrained from reviewing his performance for good reason.  Look at this - it's like kindergarden.

Let me give you a little info eris. Stockard Fan & sandybeach are 2 Chris Daughtry fans who are here only to say negative things about Taylor. I have no problem with honest reviews but to sign up here because you are bitter about Taylor winning AI (mind you that was TWO years ago) is just ridiculous & I am sick of them doing this at every opportunity they get. Maybe some time this will happen to you & then you will "get it".

I can't say anything about Sandybeach but I have seen NO negative comments from Stockard and have had conversations with her on another forum and in PM. I don't know or care who she's a fan of but I'm going to ask that you be respectful of her and everyone else on this board.

And just because someone says something you don't like it doesn't mean you have to rise to the occasion every single time to give nastiness right back.

"Give it up Henrysmom. At one time I thought you were a decent, nice Chris fan. Obviously I was wrong."

Most of the posters on the board don't care who likes Taylor or who hates Taylor.  Or likes Chris or who hates Chris.  I could care less about Chris but even I find the knocks to him annoying.  I overlook them mostly but it's really time to let it go.  Taylor is not God and Chris is not the Devil or vice versa.  Neither of them are perfect or imperfect.  They're just regular people with gifts and flaws.  Just like the rest of us.

Just yesterday you were talking about people running over Austin.  Isn't that what you're doing to Chris?

This was a pretty decent place before and many of us would like it to remain that way.  No one is asking the Taylor fans to leave but to remember that there is honest criticism on this board.  Not every remark about Taylor is an attack on him or on you.  And also to remember that you don't need to answer back every time someone does make an attack on him.  They want your attention and by giving it to them you're not only giving them what they want but as also dragging the whole board down with you.

This has been a mostly fun bunch and I'd like to see that continue.

Also, Derek mentioned this website in a blog today.  Not the forum itself but the website and I'd imagine we'll be getting a lot of his readers here soon.  And, based on the posts they leave for him, some of them don't seem very well behaved.  We have to stick together because I imagine it'll get worse.

Some of you may think that this isn't the place for this post, but it is relevant to this site. One of our SP ladies passed away last night. We are all in shock. She was one of the kindest, warm-hearted ladies you could ever meet. She went to see Grease on Taylor's opening night. She came back with glowing words about "ALL" of the cast. She is the lady who left work the day they put up the billboard of Taylor and took the picture that was posted on here. Out of respect for this special lady, could we please put a hold on the sniping.....at least for one night. Thank you.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I think it's time for the sniping to be put to rest permanently.
