Saw Grease 2X over the Weekend

Had tickets for one night and got tickets for one more. Loved the show and the cast was remarkable, it was evident how well they worked together. They gave 100% of themselves on both nights and each character was portrayed perfectly. Lots of humor, great sets, dancing and singing.

Appreciation for the cast members was shown by the level of applause they received. Overall when the entire cast was on the stage together the applause was even more distinct. During a couple of the Danny/Laura scenes I noticed a couple taking some type of pictures (they were in the first couple of rows - I was in the Mezz and the flash could be seen).

Got autographs from Jose Restrepo (Sonny) and Natalie Hill (ChaCha). Jose was very cute up close and personal and Natalie was a doll, she spent time talking to everyone. Asked Taylor Hicks to sign a few Playbills and he most graciously did. Saw a couple of others on line too, Max Crumm and Ryan Patrick Binder (pretty sure it was him) they were in front of me, just couldn't get an autograph).

Saw the original Grease and this one was even more enjoyable.smile.gif Can't wait to go again in August with our large group. Really, really, really enjoyed the shows!

Thanks for a great review! There is nothing that compares to a live performance. The cast members all sound like delightful and gracious people.I enjoy reading the recaps.Thanks !
