I still watch the final episode of You're the One that I Want. I wish NY wasn't so far from Phoenix. Warmest regards. Larry
Welcome Larry, it's nice to have another fan on here! I wish you could see the show, I've seen it twice now, and cannot wait to see it again soon!!!!! It's really great, Max and Laura are tailor-made for their roles, and I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to see them do their last show :) :) :) What I really wish is that MTV would broadcast it for those who aren't able to go, just like they did with Legally Blonde! Hope you have a nice day------Dana
Dana, will you please remember every detail of the last show so you can come back to Minnesota and tell me about it? I wish I could be there too! Laura has cried every last show of her life so I'm sure it will be a very emotional day for her. She wrote in an email home lately that this year has been everything she ever dreamed it could be and more! She is a very happy, grateful young woman for the last year of her life. Best of luck too, to Ashley and Derek and others making changes!
Jane, I cry very easily so I'll probably be crying at that final show too. And other people crying tends to set me off so if I see Laura with tears in her eyes I'll just have to follow suit.

I am such an emotional person, that I was shedding tears this afternoon when we were watching the final episode of GYTOTIW! We still watch every so often. So, if them winning over a year ago on the show brings tears to my eyes, good thing I am not at the final performance; talk about water works!!!

Hi Jane!
I am a HUGE fan of Laura's. Has she been auditioning a lot? Is she close to anything or did she want to take some time off? She is such an amazing talent!
Yes, Jane, what is Laura going to be doing next? She's amazing, and I'm sure it'll be something great....but I can totally understand the tears. If I were there I would be bawling too.
I know Dana is going to the final show. Eris are you going too?
Eris is going to both the matinee and the evening show the last day. She is going with a friend who also loves Max and Laura. I am sure both of them will be in tears!
I'll let people know when Laura's next plans are settled. She is still auditioning right now. As I stated before, I am so hoping she will have time to come home and see her Mom for a week or two! I would love to just soak her in for a few days and remember the joy of being her Mom! When I have seen her over this last year it has always been under the atmosphere of her extreme discipline to the show and her responsibilities. I'm longing for sweet girly snuggles on the couch, or a shopping trip, or a few songs around the piano while I get all teary hearing her sing. We have lots of great memories I would love to resurrect for a few days. Then I'll send her back to New York and probably start planning my next trip when I can come and see her in her next show. That may be my life for a good many years with Laura!

I definitely look forward to whatever Laura finds next. She was very well received at the Tales from the Bad Years concert and I can't want to travel up to NYC to see her in something new.
And yes...I will be at the last two shows this coming Sunday. I'm sure I'll be in tears. I cry at Hallmark commercials!
