I am thinking that it would be fun to have a place where anyone who wishes can offer our thanks, appreciation and best wishes to Laura and Max as they leave the show. It's been a great run for them and for us.

I'll post my thoughts later. Maybe someone with "connections" can convey our comments to L&M.

To Laura and Max,
Thanks for being such terrific people and so talented.  I would probably have not gone to New York to see "Grease" if I hadn't been so taken with your performances on the TV show.  (And I would have missed the terrific other actors in the show who just make it fabulous!)

Max, you were my choice from the end of the first song I saw you do.  You put your heart into it.  You have such a great sense of humor and it really came across.  Seeing you live in performance on Broadway was wonderful and really validated my choice of "Danny'.

Laura, it took a little longer for me to decide you were the "Sandy" of choice, but when it came down to it, you were the one that I felt really fit my vision of the sweet girl next door who became the hot cookie at the end of the show.  It was a delight watching your performances.

To both of you, I wish you all the luck in the world and I know that your talent will carry you to your next projects and you'll be great in them.  It's been a fantastic watching you grow and following the progress of "our kids" as they have become the leads in this Broadway production.

Thank you a million for all those great mmemories.... my thoughts are going to be with you for your final 2 prestations... and my biggest thanks to you because you made me really want to see the play engough to come from Montreal... and I found other good actors.... no need to mention them....

Wishing Max & Laura all the best that life has to offer.I wasn't fortunate enough to see the play this year,but from all the clips I've seen and everything I've read you are both extremely talented and grounded.Hope to catch you both in a future endeavor.

Well, I'm wandering around this site trying to figure out where to put this little blurb from one of the Boogiers, and I can't find a thread where it really fits. So, I'll just post it here and hope it doesn't disrupt the "flow" of things. (Didn't want to leave it on TH's forum because the purpose is to compliment the great kids who make up this cast.) The other night a few fans spent a little time with the Grease cast (minus TH ) and here's what one had to say about the terrific kids in the cast.
"went to get a drink after and got to hang out with the cast of Grease!! Except the soul man.....It was so much fun.....these kids are so friendly and great....we were talking about what they will do when the run ends......I asked Kennicke how TH was doing with the rest of the cast and he told me that Taylor is very sweet and very humble and they are enjoying him......They really appreciate everyone coming to see the show.....a win win situation for all!!!"

Note: And let me just add my thanks here to Max and Laura for all the joy they've brought to so many people - both on television and on the stage. I'll be in NY next weekend, so I just miss seeing them as Danny and Sandy - but I know we're all looking forward to seeing them at some point in their careers. Best of luck to both of them!

I came here originally for TH, knowing nothing else about GREASE. I watched clips of these 2 kids from the show that brought them to the show. I thought they were quite talented. I watched the Tony Awards. *******SHAZAAAAAM! ******** I thought Laura looked every bit the star that night. And this star was shining bright in the performance. I think Max is very charismatic. I love his sense of humor. I think we'll be seeing a lot from him in the years to come. I'm sorry I wasn't able to see them in GREASE. I wish them both the best for the future. aww.gif

I'm disappointed that I won't get to see them in person in August,  but I feel that I will have a lot of opportunities to catch them in the future.  Best wishes to them both for a long and exciting career.  They are both winners in every sense of the word.

Wishing both of them the best of luck. I was fortunate enough to catch two shows last month with them and was floored by their talent. They are the perfect couple and they complimented each other from start to finish. Sorry to see them go but know that their success will soar to even greater heights. Job well done! thumbsup.gif

I HAVE PRINTED OUT PICTURES AND ARTICLE AND HAVE THEM SAVED IN A SCRAPBOOK AND HAVE THE "GREASE ON TV SHOW" SAVE ON DVD'S AND LOVE TO WATCH THEM.

Max and Laura,
I don't know where to start! It has been amazing seeing you guys on Broadway. It looks like you have so much fun up on stage and every night when you come out to sign autographs, you are always so willing to do it and never not happy to sign!
I will miss you guys so much. It will be tough for Derek and Ashley to step into your shoes since you've left such a high standard, which is amazing!
Who would have thought that a year ago, you were just preparing for this and knowing it's over even makes me sad.
Max, I totally now have changed the way I look at Danny Zuko. Your sense of humor and your goofiness, which is a good thing!, is awesome, good luck in the future!
Laura, Smalltown Sandy, I just wish the best for you in whatever comes next, who knows, hopefully you will get to play a lead in Beauty and The Beast someday! I hope so!

Laura called home to her Mom during intermission of her last Grease show! How sweet is that? She knew I would be thinking of her and wishing I was there! She said there were lots of tears and hugs and her dressing room was full of flowers and love notes and she was so blessed to have such a great final day. Thank you to all the Grease cast that so welcomed Laura to New York and who helped make such a fantastic show and such a spectacular experience for everyone--including all of us enthusiastic fans! I will make sure Laura sees all your notes and well wishes. It has been very fun to share with you all this last year.

Instead of unconfimed gossips, it is great to get the real facts from the stars' Moms. The reality TV plus your internet postings has made Laura (& Max) not just some distant stars, but loveable real people with extraordinary talents. Please visit us in this forum often, eventhough Laura is no longer in Grease.

Laura and Max: Wish you the best! I really enjoyed your performances in Grease. I had never been to Broadway before and I really enjoyed my experiences each time I went to Grease. I was never really interested in going up to NYC to see a play till I saw you on TV, now I kinda want to go back or check out other plays :) So thanks to you and goodluck!
