I...am leaving in two weeks for Florida to take the kids on the Disney trip we postponed last year to go to NYC to see Grease.

I...wish I had other exciting events to report.

Russia? Now, that sounds exciting.

I start my summer job next week. First year I haven't worked all summer due to budget cuts.

Russia sounds wonderful, so does Disney. I am going to Lake George for 5 days with friends.

Mr.E - I will buy you some pixels for your birthday!

I've been doing nothing all summer but laze around the pool. I did go to Oak Island in NC for a week earlier in the summer.

I went to a bachelorette party last night, but I'm not too bad off this morning. Have the bridal shower today.

well, I reminded hubby we were going to Grease in a few weeks, he thought I meant Greece.

I wish

I will be staying at a friends beachhouse in Jersey for that vacation.

I hope to go to Virginia Beach in October to see my navy boy.

Well I am going to visit my province a little more... I am going to see my aunts in Quebec city and then going to le Roche percee en Gaspesie... cant wait ... but only in september...

D&B......Lake George is such a gorgeous place,I've only been there once,but loved it !

I almost made it to Nashville in June, but the trip was cancelled. We hope to go next year.

nope, never. Hubby's driven through there (he's otr truck driver) Last year he called excited, said Faith Hill was in I believe he said a lexus next to him. her plate was Faith, I think. I told him to gain his compsure before he hit someone. lol

In early Sept., I will be in Albuquerque for a couple of days.

Then, sometime in the next 3 months, I have to go to Arlington, TX

Next April, I'm going to Vegas baby!!!!!!!!!!!!! That should be fun

we went to Vegas a year ago in May, and it was 100 degrees.
We stayed inside the casino as much as possible.

My wife and I have 2 trips planned over the next 3 mths. The first is to NYC at the end of Sept to meet up with long time friends (one of whom is an ex-broadway actress) and catch a number of shows (we havn't decided which yet-any suggestions). The second trip is a business/vacation trip to India in mid-October. We've never been there and are very excited.

MrE- Have a great time in Russia. What a unique and wonderful country. Is this strictly a vacation?

I was in Texas for a quick trip last weekend, NYC in August is my next adventure! biggrin

Enjoy Lake George, D&B! I am the opposite of you--I am working all summer for the first time in years due to budget cuts--my own. My funds were sadly lacking and Disney is not cheap. I'll be glad to get away to Florida. Being a grown up is not always fun, but everyone gets to be a kid at the Magic Kingdom. smile

I'm heading back to New York the first of September. I still have a lot to see and do. Then later this year I plan a trip to Canada to spend some time with a friend that lives there. After that I guess I'm stuck at home until next year.

We go to Disney World every other year. I would live there if I could!

We decided to do a family trip to the outer banks this year, which is where I am right now. I have a view of the ocean while on the laptop. It's nice here!

stockardfan I seen where a person on the american idol boards also went to a bachelorette party the same night you went. I thought maybe you knew her. She goes by henrysmom. Hope you had a great time I have been to a few and they are alot of fun.
