Hello All! I've been meaning to post here for awhile, but it's been a crazy week. I saw GREASE for Laura & Max's last show, and also got to see Taylor. Now I admit, going in, I didn't really care one way or other about Taylor (don't hurt me Soul Patrol!) But after seeing his performance in the show, I have become a fan----what a VOICE he has! It just fills up the theater and is really phenomanal!!! He was very fun to watch on stage as well, and I loved his spot in the finale/curtain call smile.gif Also, he was VERY nice when signing autographs; he almost seems shy; you can tell he is very down to earth and humble; and grateful for what he has. Like I said in the beginning, I didn't really care for him either way; in fact, I wanted Katherine McPhee to win "Idol". But I am here as a new fan; he is just REALLY incredible, and I am very thankful I was able to hear him and see him in the role. Thanks for your time!! Dana

Thanks for your nice post about your feeling toward Taylor's Grease performance. He's gaining new fans all the time and will continue to do so. People don't realize how dynamic he is until they see him in person.

Beautiful post LauraFan1 ! Taylor really does command the stage when he performs,be it a concert or on Broadway,he's just got the charisma,the VOICE and the fabulous looks.Plus the fact that he is so humble is the icing on the cake.I'm so glad that you were able to experience what we all have,.Love hearing new fan stories,thanks for posting yours !

Hi LauraFan - Wish I could have seen Laura & Max's last performance, saw them in June and they were terrific. Next time we go we'll see the new Danny & Sandy and definitely looking forward to it.

I've always been a TH fan from AI. When he started touring thought I was just buying tickets to a concert. BAM when I saw him perform I was hooked even more; there is something about seeing this man live that has done it for me and of course too many other fans.

It's always nice to hear kind words about Taylor, but when those words come from a brand new fan, it's all the better. He is, indeed, a sweet, talented young man. And you are right.....he is pretty shy off stage, though I haven't noticed it as much since he started on Broadway. Welcome to Taylor-land. It's a heck of a ride! biggrin.gif

Every time I have met Taylor I could tell he is shy. He is very kind to his fans. I am so glad you enjoyed Taylor and his voice.

Thanks Laurafan, I'm glad to hear Taylor has won you over. Katharine was my 2nd favorite so I liked the way the season ended on AI. Taylor has a really strong voice and an incredible amount of vocal control. I've met him at the buses after concerts and he seems shy but very considerate and I agree very humble. I'm from MN too but I don't live there anymore. smile.gif

Thanks for the nice post LauraFan1! smile   Someone once described Taylor's voice as "whiskey and honey", which I think is pretty spot on.  Glad you enjoyed his performance and hope you get a chance to see him in concert sometime! smile

Thank you all for the nice warm welcome!! Ooooh, the main boards are really heating up over there tonight, I came to escape here, ha ha ha! You all are so kind, and I really have to say that I am ashamed of myself, as I had kind of "prejudged" Taylor before I saw the show....I wasn't a fan and (please don't hurt me) LOVED the previous Teen Angel, I thought he was awesome!!!! Taylor really proved me wrong, MAN can he SING. Like I said before, that voice just filled the theater, and can he play a mean harmonica!!!! Holy God! So thank you again for the welcome, it's nice to be here, and for any of you who have never seen/met Taylor-----GO SEE GREASE!!!!! He just was the sweetest, nicest guy and it was a real privilege to see him in person! I do believe I am ready to go buy my first Taylor CD now :) Hope your night is a good one!!!! Dana

All I can say is, what a powerful voice he's got, it's really something you have to hear in person, wow!! LF1...Taylor does reel you in,hook, line, and sinker....Taylor was born to entertain...I am thrilled Taylor got this oppurtunity to appear in Grease and show the world how great he is on stage...LF1, when Taylor starts touring, I hope he comes near you, so you can enjoy Taylor in concert...you will walk away amazed, smiling and wanting more....biggrin.gif

Two more weeks and I will be there, be there , be there.....can't wait..biggrin.gif
