Their picture is also on the "photo gallery" though when you click on it there's no pictures of them. I found that to be rather amusing.

A little slow on the draw to post I think. I heard that someone was complaining at the theatre that they saw Ashley and Derek at the show, and there weren't any pictures of them to buy. Marketing Department is losing money...lol biggrin

Well, I was told there were boxes upon boxes of Max and Laura merchandise. I was also told that there MAY be D&A merchandise coming. The person I spoke to said she'd heard two different stories regarding that. That they definitely were and that they definitely were not. So I guess it's just a waiting game.

Well, it doesn't make sense to me that they would be selling posters of M&L when they aren't in the show any longer. People want to see the people that are in the show on the merchandise.

I'm just the messenger sharing what I was told. Beyond that I have no idea but I'd love to have a D&A magnet to keep the other ones on my computer company.

Hey I absolutely want to buy posters with Ashley and Derek on them. I stupidly thought they would have them when I came to broadway this week and I went to visit one of my former students who is battling Luekemia and told her I would try to get a poster with their autographs. I guess we'll have to settle on a plain Grease playbill.:(

I wonder if you could send a picture of them to walmart.com and have it blown up to poster-size. You could get them to sign it for your student. I've never tried anything like that but it might be worth a go.

I think you should make a ton of them, and have them to sell outside the theatre. Give the proceeds to charity!

Yes, when I was there this past week, they are still selling M&L merchandise and probably will until they sell out or decide to remove them. M&L are still on the front of the theater and inside posters too.

Thanks Kristin and Eris, I just ordered a 16 x 20 poster of Derek and Ashley from Staples. I should pick it up tomorrow afternoon, if all goes smoothly, it was not recommended because they could not guarantee the quality...but what can I do? I want to keep my word and get an autographed poster to this sweet 13 year old girl with Leukemia.

Hey Texfan5, You could also have them sign a card for her along with the poster. I've done that and the actors/esses are more than happy to sign both. I'll keep you and her in my prayers too. Have a great time and let us know how everything turns out.

Well, all I know is, that a LOT of people were disappointed that they saw a show with Ashley and Derek and there weren't any posters with their pictures on them. End of story!

I think that a lot fans who love 'Grease' watched the TV show! And if you watched the show, you would definitely know Ashley and Derek! But I'm sure that if there are people at the show who are seeing them for the first time, they'll love them instantly! How could you not? I think that their fan base is going to grow by leaps and bounds! :)

Since Ashley spent a year on Broadway in Hairspray, I am sure that people know who she is and want to see her in Grease.

Also, Ashley was in all of NBC's National Advertising for the "Grease" TV show - You're the One That I Want. How could anyone forget that polka dot dress! She was seen in movie theatre trailers for the upcoming TV show, TV commercials, and on Times Square in the moving NBC billboard.

I personally remember seeing her three times in ONE commercial! I am sure that people know who Ashley Spencer is if they watched the TV show at all! biggrin
