I can't vote. My favorite song is BSD....until Sept. 7, that is.


Edit..... Magic Changes is also missing.

Edit 2.... Freddie, My Love - the most useless song in the show.

We don't have to bother with another poll. It's safe to say that everyone who voted for "other" is really voting for BSD!

And I guess we should give Nad props. At least she's honest about her feelings. She doesn't damn Taylor with faint praise or constantly make nasty comments about him. Most of the time she just pretends he doesn't exist, and he's not even part of the cast! LOL!

I mentioned this in another post a while back - it's o.k. that she's never going to like him or heaven forbid, give him any credit. It's easier to pretend he's not the Teen Angel and he has absolutely nothing to do with any success the show may be having. There's not much longer to suffer with his presence anyway. September 7th will be here before we know it.

Nad, I presume you'll love the new Teen Angel - whoever he may be. I guess as long as his name isn't Taylor Hicks, he'll do just fine. LOL! Then, when another favorite song poll is taken, "Beauty School Dropout" can be on the list.)

I checked Hopelessly Devoted To You which I've become a fan of ever since Laura first sang it on the NBC show :) It's so ironic since that was the song I always forwarded over when I listened to the album (ahhh, back in the day!) I didn't like how slow it was, and the way Olivia Newton-John sang it. Now, however, I play Laura's rendition soooooo much on my CD, I just think that's so funny since I never really liked the song in the first place. It was a pleasure to hear her do it 4 times LIVE, I will never forget that!!!!!!! Have a good day smile.gif Dana

For me you like that song only because it is TH and dont want to make a big scene out of it... but for me grease without bsd could easly survive.... Whomever sang it,,,, Beleive it or not .

OK, we all know that you don't like TH Nad, and we respect that.    I am not a die-hard Taylor Hicks fan either (even though I do like him), but I respect him and I feel the BSD is a BIG part of the show.  I can see why the die-hard fans think that is the best song in the show!

I like "We Go Together" becuase I think it sums up the whole show. The kids are all best friends and the show is about the ups and downs of just being a teenager.

Well I think you did not understand me so I will repeat myself... BSD for me was always a pain in the A... to listen to... even when I watch the movie at home I foward that song... not because of the person who sings it I DO NOT LIKE THE SONG CAN I BE MORE CLEAR THAN THAT...

I fast-forwarded because of Avalon's interpretation, or lack thereof. Buntrock's Les Miz voice was out of character for the song and show. Taylor has the right voice, style, affinity for the genre, and large-than-life star quality to make the song the highlight of the show.

The song should be in the poll because it's one of the major highlights of the show. If a poll is made, all songs should be in it - not just favorites of the pollster.smile.gif And according to the actual poll, it looks like more people like BSD than any other song.wink.gif

I am sorry to say that RAY but if that song would be the high light of the show Grease is in trouble... and I would of said that even if it was Max or Derek or John Travolta who sang that song. PERIOD

You know I just found this thread,where have I been lol. If I were to vote today it would be for BSD,because I love Taylor's interpertation of it.But I have a confession,it was never my favorite song from Grease before now. My favorite is Hopelessly Devoted To You ! I know I'm such a sap !

Now that you mention it, I too skip BSD on my Grease Movie soundtrack and Grease Musical soundtrack! It has never been one that I want to listen to.
