New Production shots? Some of these are obviously old shots.  In the top one of Beauty School Dropout that looks like Jenny instead of Janine.  In Born to Hand Jive that's Max as opposed to Derek.  In Those Magic Changes that's Max and Daniel instead of Derek and Will.

Those are some really awesome pics of Ace! Thanks for posting it, Eris! I hadn't seen the others either, so they were all new to me ;)

Glad to see Ashley and Derek's pictures on there. I hear there is new advertising video somewhere too.

You're right Eris, some of those are definitely Max.

But yeah, the one of Ace on the car?  Holy Hannnah!

I guess I ought to point out that Ace is the first Kenicke to take his jacket off before posing on the car.  Both Matts left it on.

You know what - it's bringing the ladies in. It's all about marketing, isn't it?? Ace knows how to use his many talents and you can bet the producers saw $$$ when they thought of him as Kenickie. That's an interesting little bit of trivia, Eris. I didn't realize that about the other Kenickies!!

PS - I told Ace it's ILLEGAL to do that smile.gif

When I saw him taking off his jacket I was a little confused because I'd never seen any of the others do that. It wasn't a fluid motion, at the time, and he seemed to struggle with getting it off. I bet he's better with it now.

I remember during the Season 5 AI tour, Ace strategically removed his jacket during one of his songs. The gasps from the ladies almost sucked all the air out of the room. biggrin.gif

Ah, yes. the Father Figure scenario. Very sily, wasn't it? Not that I minded.

Nad - not to take away from your love for Matt, but wait until you see the Ace version of Kenickie before you make a final conclusion. It's white hot!

Awww, the Father Figure memories. Being an old Ace fan used to seeing WHATEVER I wanted (damn Broadway and their no camera rules), I remember many versions of the FF performance. Took him about a week to smooth it out. Haven't seen the show but I bet Kenickie is in full command by now.
