So..I saw the show back in September and totally forgot to come on here and post a review!
I wrote it for my blog...so..if thers random stuff inserted in, thast why..haha

...on Wednesday I was lucky enough to see TWO shows! I saw Grease, starring my favorite Ambahh VonTussle, ASHLEY SPENCER..and I saw Gypsy, starring PATTI LUPONE!!!
We got to Grease and got to our seats. RIGHT mezz, row C..and when I say right...we were the last seats on the right. boo! whatever, still great seats. the only thing was when they first came onstage, we couldnt see stage left (our right). So the show was cramaazing [LOLLL]. Ashley Spencer is fantastic. She has such an outstanding voice and she played Sandy so innocently. I loved her performance. She was very sweet and in the end she comes out as "Sexy Sandy", which made me laugh solely because i called it "sexy sandy". but she rocked it, in every way possible. Grease is one of my favorite movie musicals, so I totes enjoyed the musical, live, on Broadway. The guy who played Danny, Derek Keeling, he was also outstanding. His dancing was so awesome. He us also extremely cute!! haha. Another stand-out cast member was Janine DiVito, who played Rizzo. Rizz and Frenchie are my favorites in the movie, so she really stood out. Her voice was incredible and her acting topped everyone else. She was fierce (LOLLL). She's also drop dead gorgeous. The usher there was also VERY kind. she told my mom and i we could move up to teh front row mezz during act 2 because they didn't show up. but..stupid girls took those seats and we could no longer have the pleasure of moving up as row. OH, and the ppl sitting behind us, smoking marijuana. EW. how rude and innapropriate could it get. Afterwards, of course, I stagedoored. Mainly to see Ash Spenc. So ahh...a few "T-Birds" came out. Natalie Hill came out. Then Frenchie, then uh...Taylor Hicks? Thank God he came out so early (half the crowd left after he did) then Janine DiVita, who was Rizz, and the guy who played Kenickie. Then a few others, including Derek. Then finally, about a half hour later, Ashley came out. Everyone cheered and she started on the other side..then she worked her way over to us and my mom was like.."do you remember felicia".....and shes was like OMG!!! HII! SORRY. im dazed out. hahaha! then we talked adn i mentioned going over to lotto hairspray after this and she was like have funn!!!! and as i was walking away she was like WAIT! NO! hairspray doesn't ahve a show tonight!!! i dont know why..etc. so yeah, thank you ashley for saving us +5 blocks.
