Thanks for your synopsis  Fonzuko...my heart aches for Ashley and the entire cast of "Grease."  Best of luck to all of you!

How sad!  Poor Ashley!  I'm sure that was such a difficult night.  She was such an amazing "Sandy" and it's such a shame that she had to say goodbye to the character so prematurely.  May she take comfort in the fact that she truly was amazing in every performance that she gave in "Grease." She has such a gift, and I am so thankful that she shared it with the "Grease" audience.  I feel so blessed to be her fan, and I am so thankful that I was able to see her portray "Sandy."  I know great things are ahead for Ashley, who has proven time and time again that she truly is a triple threat and deserves a place on the Broadway stage.  I am excited to see what is next in her career.  smile

Good luck to all cast and crew members, and may we see Grease once again in the Broadway line-up sometime in the next few years.

I think I am in denial that Grease actually closed. I will be making a visit to the Brooks Atkinson for "good ol' memory sake" next weekend; I will miss hearing the music playing and seeing the posters around the outside of the theater. Aside from not seeing Ace in the show, I never got to meet Derek! Maybe I will run into him in the big city!

Did you ever wonder what they do with all those pictures? THere are a lot of them inside and out. You could get that big poster of Derek probably then you could see him every day.

I think Eris claimed that one a long time ago!! I will just have to wait until the next show he is in to meet him!

I wouldn't be shocked if they held on to them for next year's flea market. That's how I got Max's.

It's in September - the Sunday after Broadway on Broadway.

Now that I know far in advance, I can plan ahead! Thanks! I would love to see Broadway on Broadway too!

Do you know how soon they will remove the posters? Are they gone already!

I don't know but I wouldn't be shocked if they started load out today or, at least, before the weekend.

If only I could do something for my friend. We are still going to have fun in NYC, but we have the rule of "do not mention Grease" in conversation! We both are sad, but we are taking this reunion as a time to have fun without kids!

I'm sure there was not a dry eye in the theater last night!

I would have definitely had to bring a box of tissues with me!

Maybe it's a good thing that I wasn't there! I would've been too teary eyed to even see anything!
