Hairspray's Final Show was yesterday at 3:00. Grease had their first show at 2:00. When Grease's matinee was over, Ashley jetted five blocks to the Neil Simon and got there at intermission. She was able to see the whole second act, and then was invited on stage to share in the bittersweet ending to "Hairspray."
All the Producers, Director, Writers and Choreographers were all there and took turns addressing the audience after the final bow, with all the actors, past and present.
Ashley then returned to do her final performance in "Grease."
Below is a picture of Ashley on stage. No wonder her tears were flowing yesterday!
How wonderful for Ashley she was able to attend part of the Hairspray finale. I'm sure that moment was very emotional for her. She was saying goodbye to her Hairspray family i.e.friends and everyone who participated in the production of that great musical. This was Ashley's Broadway debut and she will forever be grateful for the opportunity they gave her.

Thanks for the memories Ash!
Thanks for sharing this great picture, Bumble Bee! I'm so glad that Ashley was able to join the other cast members of this wonderful show onstage! She was so great as "Amber!" And of course, as "Sandy!" I'm sure it was quite an emotional day! I am praying for her as she moves forward in her career. I know that I will be following her career. And I believe that wonderful things are ahead.
