And what a thrill it was too! She is exactly what you'd expect, soooo nice, humble and gracious----and WHAT a voice, wow!!!! I was so lucky to see her, and get a beautiful autographed photo. This makes me even more excited to see her in September on Broadway :) I know she is going to blow everyone's minds and I already feel so proud for my fellow Minnesotan :) She is so gorgeous, and just hearing her voice in person almost had me in tears, ha ha. I'll say it again: I just CANNOT wait for September!!!!!!!
No, she just got back from her honeymoon to Mexico on Friday....she has SUCH an amazing voice when you hear it in person, I know Broadway is in for a treat! Her future step-father-in-law was there, with Nate's mom, and she showed some pictures from the wedding----Laura looked like a queen in her dress, just beautiful. I guess there were 500 people at the wedding too, wow. She is just a lovely girl, I was sooo happy to finally see her for myself. It was a great day, I'm still excited from it, ha ha ha.
The Mall of America event is where Laura Fan met Laura and it was fun. I wish they would have sung even more, but Laura had so much packing to do she had to get home and get that done so they helped her out by limiting the time she would be there. That's why they also did the wrist band requirement for autographs. And Laura and Nate did have to reschedule their honeymoon from Aruba to Mexico as someone pointed out previously, when they had to change the date of their wedding due to the "Grease" show. It was not possible to rebook the Aruba trip at the time. But they had a fantastic time in Mexico so no regrets--except the hours spent changing so many things that were already planned! That was hard for Nathan especially.
