Well, folks, we still have a reason to check out Tale of Two Cities! Our very own Kevin Greene is remaining with the Broadway cast! Congrats to Kevin for booking his Broadway debut!

Great news about Kevin. That's the kind of show for his beautiful voice and cultivated style. I hope it's a real role that will show off his abilities.

Do you think Derek chose Grease over Tale of Two Cities? I'm excited for Kevin-I thought he had the best voice, but just wasn't right for Danny.

No, I don't think he did. But things will probably work out for the best. I'm very happy that Kevin is able to make his Broadway debut. I enjoyed the show very much when I saw it in Florida but I worry for the show's longevity.

I read that Kate Rockwell will probably be subbing for Laura Bell Bundy sometime this week in "Legally Blonde". I don't know how true that is, seeing as I read the information on another message board.
If it happens I hope someone will put some of it up on youtube!
I hadn't heard that but I'm thinking that with only ten days left before LBB leaves she won't be missing many shows. I did hear, though, that Kate will most likely be getting some time as Elle after July 20. From what I've heard the winner of the reality show doesn't start right away. I've heard two different dates though. Some say she starts July 28 and other say that she's starting in August. The rumor is that rehearsals with the winner aren't going well so her start date has been pushed back. Someone allegedly picked that up from an usher at the theatre so take that as you will.
Whomever wins the show only has a two week contract and after that she joins the tour as a member of the ensemble. So I would imagine Kate will be seeing some time as Elle within the coming weeks.
btw...if you search "Kate Rockwell" on youtube you can find her very first moment as a Broadway star. I won't post it here because it's an illegal bootleg.

I wonder if the show will be harmed by J Barbour's recent scandal. Or, maybe that will generate more publicity? Should be interesting.
I have my concerns. The show is so beautiful and doesn't deserve the fate that may be handed it because James Barbour is stupid. I think many of the cast changes were made because of this trouble. Aaron Lazar, for example, is a name most regular Broadway theatre-goers know and his presence could possibly bring in the people who might otherwise stay away.

Scandal? My head must have been in the sand. Can someone explain it to me. I didn't hear.
His case never went to court because he struck a deal. I'm sure if he had been put in front of a jury of his peers his sentence would have been a lot heavier.
Also, part of his parole is that he needs permission to do a show involving children. Personally, I'm a little surprised he got permission to do Tale. Had I been his PO I wouldn't have given it.

Did you all know that Max Crumm has his own fan site? It is Maxcrumm.com!!!! He even has a forum where you can talk about all things Max and what Max is currently doing in the world of entertainment, much like these boards for "Grease".
Here it is folks, www.maxcrumm.com/forum, this will take you directly to the forum. I know you all will enjoy this site and hopefully soon get some breaking news about Max's career. I have been to the site myself and have seen many of you there already but just in case there is anyone here visiting who didn't know I hope it is helpful to those of you who want to continue to follow Max.
As previously announced, the starry cast will boast Randy Graff, Brooks Ashmanskas, Lisa Brescia, Jenn Colella, Michael McElroy, Laura Osnes and Max von Essen. Newcomers to the company include Ned Eisenberg, Leslie Kritzer, Michael Mulheren, James Snyder and Bobby Stegget

The cast will feature Ashmanskas as Albert Peterson, Brescia as Mrs. MacAfee, Eisenberg as Harry MacAfee, Graff as Mae Peterson, Kritzer as Rose Alvarez, Osnes as Kim MacAfee, Snyder as Conrad Birdie and Steggert as Hugo.

I'm only posting this one because of the video. I think I spotted Kevin a few times. He has longer, messier hair in some scenes because he is also in the ensemble and has multiple roles.
