Favorite Laura and Max numbers from the TV show?
Permalink Closed

Hi gang!  I'm just curious to know if anyone has any special favorite songs Max and Laura  (or anyone else) did on the TV show?  For me, "FEVER" is tops---nothing can touch that.  I liked Ashley's "Take That Look Off Your Face" alot too.  I loved Max's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" number!  I loved the group number of "All That Jazz" and also, the title song, where the girls came out of the lockers, very cute!!!  Hope you are having a nice day :)

I loved Austin's "Can't help falling in love with you."  And another of my top favorites that I just love watching is Laura's "Don't leave me this way."  Although "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Fever" were great numbers too I thought "Don't Leave Me this Way" was just so fun because of the energy! My favorite Max song was "Hard to Handle" I think.  I don't necessarily like the song itself that much but that was one of the moments Max most amazed me! I also liked Allie and Chad's duet and also Ashley and Max's duet. Too many memorable moments to recount them all!

hmm my favorite for Laura goes to "Don't Leave Me This Way".. loved that one and for Max probably "Summer of 69'". Other than those two, I loved Kate's "Buenos Aires" and Derek's "Footloose". There are so many, it's hard to choose.

For me it was Jesus Christ Superstar for Laura not because I like the song, I don't but because she did an awesome rendition of it. It was what convinced me that she should be Sandy
For Max-Suspicious Minds and Can You Feel the Love

My favorite Laura performance was "Fever," although she was always good.

Same holds true for Max -- he was always wonderful -- but I adored his "Summer of 69" with "Can You Feel The Love" coming in a close second.

Other favorites were Allie's "It's Oh, So Quiet" and Ashley's "Boots". I know that wasn't a judge favorite, but I enjoyed the performance immensely as well as the choreography.

For me it was Jesus Christ Superstar for Laura it made me stop and take notice of her, I feel it is a difficult song and she realy did a great job on it. Everyone in the room said that it was exceptional when she finished.

Unfortunately nothing else really stands out from the rest of the show.

This is tough but if I could watch only one performance for the rest of my life it would probably be Austin's "Cant help falling in love." He was just so powerful and convincing to me. Second would be Ashley's "Take that look off your face" or whatever the name of that song is. It was so good that I want to go out AND buy it.There are two very popular songs that I really don't like. the first is Jesus Christ SuperstarI still don't like it but I thought Laura did a great job because she put life into it...it meant something . The second is Can't You Feel the love Tonight. He made it seem so personal that the song was actually enjoyable. The power of good acting can be amazing.

Yes, GreatWhiteWay, I have to agree:  I LOVED Austin's "Can't Help Falling In Love With You"----he was incredible.  And yes, I loved Ashley's "Take That Look Off Your Face":  that one gets in my head and I can't shake it sometimes, ha ha ha.  They're both so talented :)
