Well this trip to NYC wasn't favorable to me, unfortunately. On the flight there I developed an inner ear infection and temporarily lost some of my hearing throughout the day. When it was time for the show, it started to feel a little better, but still not perfect. Then on the flight home my ear got worse and I had to go to the emergency room as soon as we came in. It turns out my ear drum ruptured during the flight. So I'm trying to recuperate now...
Anyway, now for the good stuff...
I LOVE THIS SHOW! lol It's so fun and lively. I did notice a few subtle changes here and there from the first time I saw it.
Robyn Hurder really stood out for me on Friday. He voice is so strong yet so beautiful at the same time (I love it!) while Laura's voice just gets better and better after every note and her wig is now curly, which I think I like better.
We had 2 understudies, Sonny and Cha Cha, whom both were amazing.
Our seats were so amazingly close! When they came to the front of the stage it seemed like they were going to fall right onto our laps lol My mom's ready to buy tickets for a third time! She LOVES this show lol I'm even more excited for the soundtrack now
Stage door....
Hardly any of the supporting cast even bothered to sign or take pics this time. They all just left with the exception of Eugine, Teen Angel, and some dancers, but that's ok. I'm sure they were exhasted, I was tired from just watching them lol Then Max and Laura came out, crowd serged. I did get pictures this time though.
I was at that show myself. I know what you mean about the trip not being what it was suppose to go. We were going to spend the whole day in NY but my aunt broke her toe last weekend and i had to push her around in a wheel chair and I have learned that new york is not made for wheel chairs. The weekend did not go as planned but the show itself was great. I hope you feel better.
