What a gracious man. I'm already a fan before I've seen a single one of his performances.

Laura speaks extremely highly of Stephen--onstage and off.  He has been especially thoughtful to her--frequently checking in on her to make sure she is O.K. and staying on top of handling all the pressures of Broadway and publicity. A very genuinely great person in her eyes.  Ironically, we saw him several years ago in Minneapolis in the touring show of Martin Guerre and Laura had to have been only about 15-16 years old or so I think at the time. We really enjoyed that show and also learned his wife played the part of Bertrand in the show when we saw it too. That was a fun mini connection for them when they met each other.

I love him---he gave an INCREDIBLE performance (the whole 3 1/2 minutes he was on stage,  ha ha)  He was amazing, I loved all his little gestures he did, and the way he made his entrance!!!!  Very nice guy, he stopped and signed autographs after the show also; definitely one of my favorites of the whole experience!!

What a great article. I echo the sentiment of the person who said that they like him already and haven't even met him. It is a true professional who is  so secure in his craft that can play a role requiring him to be on stage for 3 and half minutes and still be so overjoyed at the opportunity. Of course it is a really fun role. Can you imagine entering the stage in an ice cream cone? LOL. biggrin
