Are those Max and Laura's voices in the horror movie in the drive in scene?

In the Playbill it says Jim Jacobs is the Scientist, some of the guys including the T-Birds are the Vel-Doo-Rays and two of the understudies are Shelia and Hero. Who are all these characters??

The Scientist, Sheila, and Hero are the characters from the movie that they're watching at the drive in. The Vel-Doo-Rays are the band at the dance.

I walked by the theatre this weekend. Danny is played by Josh Franklin. Also Daniel (plays Roger) is out and subbed by Kevin.
