Hey I just noticed that Max has a dimple on the chin like John Travolta
Well I for one will be very disappointed if I miss Jose Restrepo AGAIN on my third Grease outing! Maybe I should ask his mother-in-law for future planned vacation days haha
It ain't my fault the production sucks and everyone involved deserves better!
Yeah, know what you mean. Curtains dropped another 8% last week. David Hyde Pierce was seen outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre holding a tin cup about an hour and a half before the show last night.

Hmmm, I don't think she'll tell ya. Better to ask his understudy when he's going on again.
You wonderded why max's mom dosen't come on the site anymore well it is because of comment stupide lide yours...
Oh, I know why she doesn't come here anymore. But she's clearly biased, anyway. Doesn't seem to realize that people will talk about people who are in the public eye. Can't take that fact. Doesn't realize that this production of GREASE isn't the 2nd coming, either.

They say that I won't last too long on Broadway I'll catch a Greyhound bus for home, they all say But they're dead wrong, I know they are 'Cause I can play this here guitar And I won't quit till I'm a star on Broadway
I have often wished that I had not identified myself on this board as Laura's Mom. I just love exchange of opinions and to hear people's comments--even if they are "negative criticism" about Laura (or even myself, I suppose). I think it has been unfortunate that many opinions have not been tolerated if they weren't fully endowed with praise for everything and everyone Grease related. It has been my observation that when people have made a less-than-fully supportive comment about someone or something related to the show, that they usually did so in a way that I perceived as reasonable and fair and their "perogative to have an opinion" type of manner. But when people take these comments straight to their heart as a personal attack they have made a leap that never was intended. People in the public eye are subject to opinions of every sort. I know for me, if I did not feel like I could handle reading it, I would never subject myself to a place like this or any similar commentary board. I truly should have stayed anonymous. I enjoyed the banter so much more from reading the original GYTOTIW boards while that show was going on--because I could read all the honest, unfiltered comments. I rarely commented (and only as a disguised name when I did), but I read quite a bit of it and found it most interesting. I guess we're all unique. Don't know what else to say.
wow, I wish I had never stopped coming on here - this is getting exciting! Mr. E, you crack me up! I wish there were more straight forward people like you lol
and keep the "raise as much hell as you can" line from the forum title in mind! lol
Rydell High Forum Treat this forum like your very own personal study hall - come to chat, gossip, and raise as much hell as you can with Grease fans from around the country and the world, without getting caught and being sent to detention. No spitballs, please!
Actually that is the point. The purpose of this thread is to have as you termed it a "food fight". Kind of like the deal where you give two people who need to work out a beef a pair of boxing gloves and let them slug it out.

Figure of speech my friend, a mere figure of speech. I can't do a W.C. Fields impression but if I could that's how I'd say it. So you're saying a bare knuckles bout?
True,Jo true. I hope you know that we're playing. I don't think anyone's really mad at anyone else. But it is freeing to be oneself and know that those who are true friends know how to weed out the bad stuff and find the good stuff. After all life is a process of growing, hopefully a little better each day. I have little tolerance for phonies, I'd prefer someone be real with me, it's easier to establish trust that way. I have this uncanny knack for picking out people who are acting like something they're not. I can usually tell a lot about a person by one meeting face to face. In print it is a little harder.
