Hi everyone! We'll be coming to NYC this Oct. with our 3 kids (5,8,10) and I wonder if you NYers out there can give me some suggestions on what to do with them. I have bought tickets to The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins and Wicked already. I'm waiting to see the cast changes for Grease before I buy tickets to the show, since I saw it twice already last fall (AND LOVE IT!!!!)
I know we'll be staying in TS and will definitely go on the double-decker tour bus. I'm looking for more specific info., like what to do in Central Park, or certain museums, interesting neighborhoods? Any ideas you have will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Statue of Liberty, Museum of the City of New York (Doll houses, dolls, antique toys) FAO Schwarz, American Girl Store, The Barbie Store, The M&M Store, The Hershey Store. Giant Toys r us at 34 Street.
I think my girls will die over the Barbie store, don't know if my husband can handle it. But we'll be there!
Serendipidity is an ice cream place, although you can get sandwiches and such there. How to explain frozen hot chocolate? Sort of a drink that has a frozen center and warm outside and yummy all the way through. You have to experience it for yourself. Make reservations!
