ENOUGH OF T.H. FOR NOW Grease is...

this is a Grease forum, and there are threads for others in the show, not just the teen angel. He is the newest cast member, and has generated a little interest.
I am also interested in who will play the parts of Danny and Sandy. I am seeing the show in August, so the cast will be a little different. I haven't seen any news yet on who will take over the parts.

He's an actor. He played Eomer in LOTR: Twin Towers and LOTR: Return of the King. The picture I posted is from Doom with the Rock and he was in the second Bourne film.

I first spotted him when he was playing Cupid/Caesar on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.

I just don't understand why everyone feels that talking about Taylor Hicks has derouted the message board. Taylor is a member of the cast. If people want to talk about him....THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT HIM! I am not a member of the Soul Patrol, but I believe that everyone has a right to talk. If you don't want to talk or read about Taylor, then go to another thread that isn't about him. There are plenty of those. I agree with you Griz. weirdface

I took offense to this thread, but tried to be respectful. Griz took offense, also. I know there were problems initially, but I had hopes of having some fun here. Although I came here for Taylor, I love Grease. I wouldn't be travelling to New York if not for him, though.

Think of anything but a pink elephant. OK, I will think of something other than a pink elephant.

When I saw Grease on Aug.19, Jose played Sonny, but, with the Max/Laura excitement at it's peak, I have no recollection of him. However, when I saw the show on Feb.14, his understudy went on. He seemed so thrilled to be playing the part that, for his few tiny bits, he was the most animated person on stage, and I do remember him. There are no small parts....who said that?

What keeps all of you posting on this board? If you're a little obsessed with GREASE then you should understand us (Taylor fans) being a little obsessed too. We want to know what regular theatre go'ers and especially GREASE fans think of Taylor. We're happy for him because he's now branching out to different audiences. What do these audiences think of him? Please give us some feed back. I have read "not-so-great" reviews on the play but nothing about Taylor specifically. I think the shows will get better as time goes on and the actors are more comfortable with their parts. Are you planning on seeing the play, even though the critics don't like it?

No matter what you think of Taylor and his "small part"

he will put people in the seats.

A little obsessed doesn't make people insult each other, flame others and post unflattering pictures of an imagined rival. Yes, the show did not get great reviews. Time has gone on; this show has been up and running since last July. The current cast is very comfortable with their parts as they have done them for almost a year. I don't know if anyone will review Mr. Hicks specifically but someone may. I have seen the show four times and plan on going again. I go to see what I want, usually without regard to what the critics have to say. Anyone who is seeing it now has either not read the reviews or doesn't care about them.

I'm coming to see for myself what I think of the play - of course I'm coming to see Taylor too but I wish all the actors a great run.

I didn't realize there were insulting remarks and unflattering pictures going around. I'm sorry people are behaving that way and I think they should find another place to do that but I guess you can't keep people who get a charge out of being obnoxious off any board. It's not easy but I guess it's best to just ignore them.

If you're going to see the play soon will you write a review on these boards? I'll be seeing it next month and I'd like to see what "real people" think. Not that critics aren't real people but you know what I mean.

I have a question. I'm going to be going to the concert this summer. How long will Max Crum and Laura Ostes be playing the parts of Danny and Sandy? I hope they are still there when I see the show. I've watched some of their performances on youtube and really like them a lot.

I don't and I hope it's not true. I don't mind her but I don't think I'd like to see her as Sandy. What about the other characters Frenchy and Rizzo...will they be changing too?

So, if and when they replace Danny and Sandy with someone else who has a big fan base are you going to belittle them too. Is this the way you treat the new-comers to the show. Taylor will settle into his part quite well. I just wish they would change his suit and his hair back to the way is was.

It's not going to be Brittney. From what I hear it's going to be Ashley Spencer with Derek Keeling. I haven't even heard any other rumors about any other people.
