Just curious, were all Broadway shows closed last night for the Tonys? Did they still hold the matinee show?

They Tonys are always held on Sunday nights and only a very small handful of shows have Sunday evening performances. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Legally Blonde and I would imagine they went on last night with LBB's understudy going on in her place.

Thanks Eris. Doesn't Grease have a 7 pm on Sunday? Ever since the nomination was announced and they planned to have the whole cast in the Tonys performance, I guess they had to cancel the 7 pm show and issue refunds to ticket holders?

It was my understanding that they did NOT have a night performance offered on that Sun. evening. But still had an 8 performance week by replacing it with a Wed evening performance. MrE????? Anybody?

I'm pretty sure MrE said the 8th performance was Wed. evening.
