People should not assume that a poster is indicating anything negative about a TH fan. We are talking about people in general and their behavior at a concert in comparison to a Broadway show.

Of note, it appears that a few TH fans are reading much to much into posts and taking umberage where no insult is intended.

Grease Lightning specifically said TH fans.

Grease Lightning isn't the original poster and wasn't there. I never once stated that the people singing along were TH fans. Never even crossed my mind. And, as I said before, I didn't get really angry until they started touching me and acting as if I were the rude one for standing during curtain calls.

In my original post I did make a note to the TH fans on this board regarding filming and photography. Those people were TH fans because I can't imagine anyone other than a TH fan standing up and taking pictures during Beauty School Dropout. I never suggested they were Soul Patrol because I have no idea if they were. I certainly didn't approach every single one and ask. And I never meant my mention of the rule as an insult but rather a reminder that this is a rule. I merely mentioned it in the hopes that when you do go see the show you'll keep it in mind and that you'd pass it along to others. Another reason I mentioned it is because a lot of people don't realize why you can't take pictures. Not only is there a legality issue many people who are not accustomed to the theatre or have never performed themselves don't realize how distracting a camera flash can be to a performer. I had the hopes of enlightening you as to why this particular rule is in place. Not start an arguement.

People are indeed reading too much into some of these comments.

I was not referring just to that particular post, but to many of the posts in general. It appears that a few people read the posts and decide to argue a point that really needs no rebuttal, but these same people seem to respond everytime a point is made they feel is negative towards TH or his fans.

You make some valid points Eris and I'll keep them in mind. I wasn't intending to take any picutres while inside the theater personally. I'm sorry you had this bad experience. I wasn't trying to argue with you either...just pointing out it could have been anyone.

I am not going to take pics inside the theater, but I will after the show.

If you take pictures after the show, you should take them at the stage door where you can see the cast coming out. Nothing much to take inside after the show.

Eris I hear where you're coming from. I had a similar experience when we went to see Grease a few years back. I knew we were in trouble when the person who was going to sit next to me stepped on my foot the first time he walked by me to get to his seat. OK,accidents happen and I quickly forgot about it,until he kept whacking my arm everytime he liked what was going on on stage and to add insult to injury the guy kept trying to sing.If he had a decent voice it wouldn't have been so annoying, but he sounded like a sick puppy ! Intermission comes,he gets up and don't you think he stepped on mine and my daughters feet, mind you it was summer and we had on open toed shoes ! He comes back with a drink and proceeds to slop it all over the place UGH ! That was the final sraw,we saw some empty seats asked if we could use them and got to enjoy the show ! Moral of the story, it takes all kinds and I seem to find them all !LOL
