Daniel Everidge, temporaraily out of Grease because of an injury, will return soon to the original cast of the Tony-nominated revival, in which he plays Roger, the lead Burger Boy who sings Mooning in a duet. This is according to the Columbia Dispatch.com, the newspaper representing Otterbein College from which he graduated.
Didn't Grease just get a new Roger? Was he just standing in for Daniel until he was able to return?
Cath. Danny is the leader of the T-Birds (Burger boy) and Roger is only one of them. Though I know Danny is... Kenickie seams more like a leader than Danny I mean in the play.
Danny was definitely the leader in the number at the Tonys, with Kenickie close behind. I don't know if Max could muster that kind of intensity eight times a week, but he did it when it counted.
I can't imagine anybody matching Daniel's stylish singing in Mooning, or that spectacular high F!

The newspaper said it, not cath. She is only quoting the newspaper article.
I meant for the play... Max is good as Danny. I was making the comparaison as the movie and the play. In the movie you can clearly see that Danny is the leader... he even sings Greased lightning but in the play Kenickie for me stand a little more as a leader... story whize.

Jeff Conaway has been known to say that John Travolta fought to sing Greased Lighning in the movie version of Grease. How valid a comment that is made by Conaway goes with doubt in my mind. A little career jealousy possibly mixed with his addiction to drugs could make that statement invalid but who knows.
