I think they will do good, and it will hush all the people that are more concerned with the actors looking like the movie roles. Ashley was originally my favorite Sandy, but I grew to love Laura even more. I would love to see Max and Ashley together on stage just once. I always thought they played off each other well.
I'm gonna have to go back and watch the show to remember if there were any Derek/Ashley performances. ????

Did you ever see Max and Ashley's home video on YouTube called "It Takes Two." According to Max, this home video was taken by a friend when Max and Ashley were just hanging out one night! I don't think I'm allowed to post videos on here, but just go to Youtube and look for Ashley Spencer and Max Crumm "It Takes Two." It's not the stage performance (which was wonderful by the way, I thought), but the home movie they made.

Yeah, I've seen that. They are very funny together. They have great chemistry, but I wasn't always convinced it was a Danny/Sandy type chemistry. It's more like they play off each other well.

Very cute! I saw that the video has over 1500 hits!
It Takes Two - Never saw the home version before...shows how comfortable they were together...good pianist, probably a recording. The real performance is still amazing for it's youthful exuberance, playful sexiness, and beautiful singing.
Yeah, but she got her head chopped off in the end!
precisely!
Henry randomly chopped off heads! Quilty or not! lol
Have you read the book? She totally deserved it! LOL!
Haven't finished the book yet. But, according to the history books, she was falsely accused of what she was beheaded for. The book isn't near as good as the Tudors on Showtime. Ann was beheaded in the last episode of this season.

I always thought they would be great together in a comedy. I've heard that they are great friends now!
I am so thrilled to see Ashley and Derek get to play the roles of Sandy and Danny!!!!! I have booked our trip to New York to celebrate my 50th birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate it than to see Grease the end of July. We watched and voted for these two after every show. We even had their picture made on a t-shirt when the show was running in early 2007. I've seen Ashley in Hairspray and she does such a GREAT job. It will be fun to see her in this new role.
