Max's blog is gone. Derek's blogs are still up as is the announcement on his website. When I do a search I find the articles that say Derek and Ashley will be taking over on July 22.

A standard contract is 6-12 months. Like a lease smile.gif

Thanks Kristen and Eris......Thats funny. Right before I posted my question this morning, I looked on both Maxs' and Dereks' websites just to make sure. Neither website this morning had the blog or article that I had saw over the weekend. I was just making sure.

I'm just curious if it is a standard contract or if they want to keep the show going by giving all the different fan bases a chance to see their favorite performers. Are contracts usually kept kind of quiet?

Contracts aren't usually guarded under lock and key. Unless it's a special thing (like Hicks only being in the show for three months) it's typically six months to a year. Not always but usually.

I was wondering the same thing! I actually heard one of Matt's performances on youtube and he sounds really good. You could tell he had some voice lessons.

Even the blog on Maxs' site is gone along with the announcement on Dereks' website. All gone. I realize that it not official. But you would think that if its true, that you would just make the announcement instead of making everyone else delete the news.
