I thought I had spent enough money already but I went for the fourth and probably final time last night! Josh Franklin played Teen Angel and I thought he was funny yet mediocre. He wore Buntrock's white costume which looked oversized on him since he's a slender guy. I was hoping to get Matthew Hydzik who was really good when I went in March.
I was wondering, Max wipes his sweat with a napkin or hankerchief all the time after the intense dancing scenes. (Didn't notice it in September though). Is that written in because Danny is self-conscious or they allow Max to do it? Also in two of the four shows I saw but not last night, he wipes Laura's lipstick off right after they kiss in YTOTIW. He should keep it on, show's almost over anyway!
Will Blum is adorable as Roger. I thought the new Rizzo (Janine DiVita) is not as powerful and b!tchy as Jenny Powers' portrayal. I actually like Natalie Hill better as Rizzo.
Last night was the first time I sat in the mezzanine. Row B center is pretty good but nothing beats center orchestra. Sitting above, I noticed for the first time how Danny roughs up Sandy during the drive-in scene. In the orchestra, I never saw her skirt fly up!
Which swing member plays the swing girl with the glasses? Amber Stone? It's a shame the glasses (and wig) hide her face since she looks so pretty in the pics I've seen on broadwayworld.com, etc.
Thank you Max Crumm and Laura Osnes for this unforgettable year and a half!! Good luck to them and the Grease cast!!

With the orange sweater? That's Natalie Hill

"i think natalie wears the glasses...i'm guessing they gave them to her in ensemble because she gets to shine as cha-cha. "
I would imagine so. Often when a member of the ensemble also has featured role they are told to not draw attention to themselves in the ensemble and are often given articles of clothing in order to "hide". It happened to me once. I was in the ensemble but also had a featured role in the second act. I was instructed to not make any large movements that might draw the audience to me. In one scene I had a paper that I held close to my face and in another I had a hat that nearly covered my whole face. Though on opening night I did draw attention to myself. I hadn't realized my zipper had broken and the whole back of my dress was open. Someone had to come up behind me and zip it while we were on stage. Ah, live theatre.

Thanks. I didn't know Natalie Hill plays both Cha Cha and the ensemble girl with the glasses on. Although I saw the show 4 times now lol, I can't remember if Natalie comes out in curtain calls as the ensemble dancer or as Cha Cha?

She comes out in her ensemble costume but after she takes her bow with the ladies she then takes off her glasses and does a little dance as if to say "I'm Cha-Cha!"
