I thought it was great. I know some people who go to shows more often than myself thought that Max and Laura weren't experienced enough. To me, however, I thought they did great. We had 2nd row mez seats, in the center, and they were fantastic seats! Well, except for the rude lady next to me who had space issues. Did anyone else enjoy the band director's dancing and energy as much as I did? LOL
Thanks to this board, we also waited at the stage door and got autographs from Will Blum, Janine DiVita, Jose Restrepo, Lindsay Mendez, Natalie Hill, and of course, Max and Laura! Also got Taylor's autograph. We saw Allison Fischer outside the door, but she wasn't signing for some reason. Everyone was very nice. Someone asked Max what his next project was and he said "lots of rest and relaxation". Oh, and Taylor was also super nice and took a picture with a sweet little girl with Down's syndrome that was sitting in front of us in the theater.
Then we went to Ellen's Stardust Diner to enjoy their singing wait staff. The food was eh, but the entertainment was great! It rained a bit during our walking yesterday, but it certainly didn't dampen my excitement at finally getting to see Max and Laura perform! Thanks for the tips that came from this board!
If someone can tell me how to add pics here, I'm happy to share our SD photos! Thanks.
I've seen Allison sign autographs once. She usually just leaves. There's no rule about signing even though Max and Laura are greatly "encouraged". Some actors love it and some just want to get home.
When I took my sister to the show I also took her to Ellen's afterward. It's a bit touristy and when I'm on my own I tend to avoid those places. But I knew she'd get a total kick out of the singing and I didn't tell her about it until we got there. And she was so surprised and happy about it. Ellen's is a good follow up to Grease because it looks like a 50's diner. And the day we were there one of the waiters sang A Little Less Conversation which made me laugh because this wasn't long before I was going to see Derek in All Shook Up
As for sharing pictures with us I would recommend opening a photobucket account. Upload your pictures to the account and it will generate links for you to post here. Under each picture is a list of four links. Choose the one that begins with [IMG].

Can't help you with the picture downloading, but I wanted to tell you that some of the Boogie Board members who have gone to the show, absolutely loved the band leader. In fact, a group of them who were there last week, (when Katja came from Finland to see TH) said that next to BSD, the band leader was their favorite! Evidently, he had them in stitches and if I remember correctly, they said he appeared to be "pole dancing" while he was directing! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing him at the show I go to.

Allison signed each time when I went last Fall, but that may have worn off a little.
If you if have a Yahoo account, you can also use Flickr to upload your photos, then create the links that you can post here.
Great pictures... and as far as I know... Jose, Allison, Robyn, Jamieson, Lyndsay, Max and Laura all signed an autograph and pictures... and it was last April they are really really happy to do it... do not have any complaints...
WOW, great recap and pictures!!! Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for sharing the photos! Yours turned out great! I had the actors right in front of me, but I didn't get pictures as clear as you did. Thanks again!
Thanks guys. I actually didn't take the pics, my gf did. I was gathering the autographs...lol. But I have a great camera...it's my favorite toy (Canon Rebel XT). I probably would have snapped a ton more! hehe I would have loved to have met more of the cast, but I don't know if they came out later and we missed them or what. Allison stood outside for a while, but maybe she wasn't feeling well or something. She's so cute and tiny! Thanks again for letting me share.

Thanks, I'll have to check out the camera!! This past holiday weekend was hard; I wasn't getting the pics of the kids that I would like to have. So, again, thanks for sharing your photos. I now know where to start when I go to the store!!
I so enjoyed these pictures. I can't wait until July 18th so I can snap a couple of my own. I don't own a Canon Rebel XT but I might just have to pick one up.
I don't suggest picking up a canon rebel unless you think you'll get lots of use for it. As I said my Rebel cost me over $1600 and that was a cheaper package deal.

I paid about $800 for my Rebel. I didn't get any bells or whistles, and honestly, I just use it on auto settings. But I use it ALOT to take pictures of my kids. Plus I already had a zoom lens from a film Canon SLR, so I use that for when we go to concerts, etc. But I do love my camera. I understand what you mean about not taking it to the city. But it was hidden away when not in use. Glad everyone enjoyed the photos. I'm debating going back for their final show.

I just priced it at Costco for $999! Ouch! I would like a new camera, but maybe not that much!
Thanks Sparkle...I didn't have the camera that day though. I was gathering autographs. lol That camera was my Christmas gift 2 years ago. Best gift I have gotten. I use it constantly! I do have a "point and shoot" Kodak, but I usually carry my Rebel.

Mine was a package deal. For $1600 I got the camera body, two lenses, the carrying case, a lens care kit, the software for my computer, two disks, a battery, battery charger, and a tripod. And the $1600 included shipping.
I bought it because was so tired of going to baseball games and then not knowing what I took pictures of when I got home. The breaking point for me was when I took a picture of a guy I know who used to play for the Phillies. In Philadelphia the team lets the players bring their sons onto the field during batting practice. They can shag flies and run around wear mini versions of their dad's uniforms. Well he was on the field with the sons of one of his teammates and he was showing them the proper way to hold their gloves and such. It was the sweetest thing. I just had one of those disposables back then. And when I got my pictures back you had no idea what you were looking at. So I buckled down and got a camera.
Now I have two digital cameras. The canon for baseball games and special stuff and a casio to tuck in my purse.
