Just letting everyone know that Broadwaybox.com is currently an "unsafe" site. I'm not really sure what happened but I suspect some hacker uploaded some nasty software onto the site that will download onto your computer when you visit it.
I have my browser settings set to notify me whenever I go to an "attack site" and until tonight I had never received a message about broadwaybox before. So if anyone is buying tickets through broadwaybox keep this in mind.
Here's the message I got:

wow, I didn't know that.
The explanation is fairly simple. In the beginning of the desktop computer revolution, Apple Computers made a decision not to allow any other companies who were not licensed by them to produce software for their company, while IBM and other pc companies allowed any software company to produce whatever software they wanted.
This is no longer the case. Apple, which has it's own operating system, has about 7% of the personal computer market and the rest of the world uses some other brand, with Windows as the operating system. If I were a hacker, what would I write for? The 93% of the world or the 7%? Easy answer. There are other operating system, Linux and such but Windows is the one 90% of the pc users have on their computer.
There actually are some viruses for Apple computers, but they are harmless in their present form. I love my mac!

Thanks DogsandBirds! We recently got the IMac, so it is still so new to me. The virus thing was told me to, but I forgot.
Since I have been using Apple products since 1984, I am a fairly good resource for any and all questions you have about your computer. Feel free to PM me and ask away!
Thanks for the info, just removed a virus this morning from a site I visited. Some are easy to get rid of and others are a nightmare. Have thought about getting an Apple the next time around.
Thanks for reminding me why I bought Macs for my whole household in Mar. I was beginning to wonder because it is taking some adjustment to learn. Good to know who I can contact when I'm confused!
