I was watching the Today show and my ears perked up when she said she is going to see Grease on Broadway. I missed if she said today or tomorrow. Today is only the matinee so she might be seeing that one.

I am sure there will some news about it somewhere.

I think kathie Lee is very smitten with Grease and the cast.  I would be surprised if she doesn't come back with a glowing review.  Go Grease!  biggrin

She has worked with Allison Fischer, who plays Patty, I am sure she will be more than enthusiastic. I have always found that morning TV personalities have a nice thing to say about almost everything they see or when they have a actor from that show or movie who comes on to plug their part.

Nonie -

I think you're right. When Taylor announced he would be playing Teen Angel, it was to Kathie and her co-host (with the "different" name I can't remember (Hoda?) and which will drive me crazy!) And she did mention Allison. She's a big fan of Grease in general, and Allison and Taylor, in particular! Don't think that anyone can deny the publicity that he is generating, i.e. "Good Morning Live."

thanks for the heads-up

Kathie Lee Gifford and her co-host on Today hour No. 7, Hoda, went to yesterday's matinee and just got done talking about it.

they really enjoyed it, showed a picture of Allison and other cast members and gave a shoutout to the TV show.

Hoda said TH absolutely stole the show and the finale was "electrifying," saying the audience "went completely nutso" for TH. Kathie Lee talked about how the place was packed and it's almost impossible to get tickets for the show.

Two thumbs up, way up!

One another reason I see why is that Max and Laura are leaving soon and they all want to see them one last time.

I'm sure you're right, Nad. There are probably lots of fans who want to see Laura and Max once more before they leave the show.
