Hi Nad.....How's it going????? Good to hear from you again.

The only recording that Matthew has done (that I know of) besides "Grease" was a few years back he played "sammy" in The Wedding Singer.

I will start looking, but thats the only one that I know of.

You must give yourself a little credit, Lynne. At least your very good at google searches. Besides, I would have just accepted that you knew all. Thanks for your honesty.
Congratulations on becoming a "GURU" and joining the ranks with MrE and Eris.
As for your margarita, would you like yours blended or on ice. My area is going through the fad of blending their margaritas. I prefer mine to be on ice.

Dana, again....enjoy your trip to NYC, I only wish that I was going with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do give myself credit. I am a mistress of the google search. Friends call when they are looking for something that they cannot find; I always find it.

I have been teaching people to use computers for as long as I have been teaching which is over 25 years. I wrote my first master's degree about computer instruction, on my first computer and used research from the then fledgling internet from the University of California at Berkley's library connection. I am an offical computer junkie, specifically Apple computers.

I am the IT person in my school and have taught both students and adults to use the computer. My dream job would be to work at an Apple store, teaching adults who are afraid of using a computer (many of them are!) how to do so.

My 8th grade course is all about using the internet for research. Most teens know how to use a computer, but don't do searches very well. When they have passed my course, research papers are much less about printing out the information they see in front of them, accurate or not and much more finding and using the correct information and not plagurizing!

Edited because I need to reread this before I post them, not after!

Also have a grand time Dana!

Oh, thank you so much everyone! Lynne---congratulations, you Guru, you :) I will most definitely have a great time----can't wait to see the show again, it should be amazing!!!! It's funny because going in, the first time I saw it last September, ALL I cared about was seeing Laura and Max live. Then after seeing it, all the fun parts that I wasn't expecting happend: The Teen Angel descending in his ice cream cone; the wonderful Matt Saldivar, the great choreography, Miss Lynch, the "Greased Lightning" number, etc. etc.......so that all made me more excited for my second time in May. At which time I finally got to see the incredible Jose Restrepo (he was gone in September) and it made me love the show that much more :) So that's made me even more excited for this time, the anticipation of all the fun, unexpected little moments. It's such a fun show, such a feel-good time!!! So as you can tell, I'm pretty excited for Sunday----I'm just happy I get to see Max and Laura's last show, I'm sure it'll be such a special night! biggrin.gif Mike, I wish I could take you and your wife with me! Hope you have a good day, everyone!!

I'm not sure where to post this, but this thread looks like it might work.

One of Taylor's fans went to the Matinee yesterday with her mother, who is also a TH fan. She wrote a recap, which of course, is mostly about Taylor, but there was a mention of a couple of other people, and I thought you all may like to hear that little portion. (If anyone is interested, the TH portion can be found at the Boogie.)

"Its now 1:50 so we go to get into the theater and go to our seats. The place is fully packed, and you can feel the excitement. All ages were there. The show starts. OK first act done - and the band leader is hilarious. You have to watch him during Greased Lightning because there is a pole, and he's dancing while holding on to it!
Too funny!

OK on to the second act .....the one we've been waiting for. First, I must say that I really think Kinickie is great, as also, is Rizzo."

You'll all have to excuse me for posting where I might be considered completely off topic, but there doesn't seem to be a General thread, and I hate to start a new thread for every little piece of info about the cast that I find.

It occurs to me that you all may not be familiar with the fact that Natalie Hill (Cha-Cha) has a wonderful blog called "Mormon In Manhattan" - (No Sex In The City.) She writes about her life, her family, friends, living in NY, and of course, performing in Grease.

That means, of course, that she often posts little bits of news and pictures concerning the cast, etc. For instance, in today's blog, she bids farewell to Laura and Max and welcomes Derek and Ashley (or as she says they sometimes call them Dashley!) and she included a couple of pictures of them. (She posted that she'll be playing "Marty" on stage in a few upcoming shows.)

Because she lives in the City, she often gives great tips on places to eat and things to do - and she's a definite make-up and good health guru, and is always giving wonderful advice and suggestions in those areas. She's written some touching posts about her family - her parents and three younger sisters. They're all very active in their Church, and she's obviously very proud of being a Mormon.

The blogs are a fun read, and I thought that the occasional mentions of the cast and the show might be something you'd all like to check out. (About a week ago she wrote a fun little piece about she and Max clowning around backstage, and you never know when she'll mention the show or other news from Broadway.)

So, here's the link to Natalie's blog, if anyone's interested. (If this link doesn't work, just google "mormon in manhattan.")

I didn't realize it was Matthew's last show. He is a great actor. He is one of the only cast members I didn't get to meet at the stage door either time I was there. :o(

Matt came out fairly late. Most of the crowd was gone by the time he came out.
