I just wanted to share thie story here.Tonight I pulled into the gas station with my windows rolled down and I was playing Somehow rather loudly ! A young girl pulled up at the next pump and after a minute or so asked who was singing and that it was a beautiful song ! Of course I lit up and told her that it was Taylor Hicks. She said you mean the guy from Idol,I said yes that's him and she said WOW,I'm going to have to pick up his CD !

That's great, Judy. Another new fan! That little song that Taylor said he wrote in 5 minutes.....I think it's his masterpiece! It's always been my favorite Taylor song.

I've never seen that video before but Somehow is one of my favorite Taylor Hicks songs.

I wonder if Taylor realizes just how many of his fans list SOMEHOW as their favorite
Taylor song. aww.gifsing.gifsing.gif

I remember the guy at Blueshistorian being impressed with SOMEHOW. Speaking of Blueshistorian, he has a color video of Taylor's SWEET HOME CHICAGO at the Chicago HOB posted. Right above it is a nice Keb Mo video. And right above Keb Mo is Marvin Gaye with an a capella version of HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE. Amazing voice!

Definitely worth a look~see!!

Uncleshag at WLSO.FM has been a great supporter of Taylor, too. He's been playing songs from Early Works.

Remember Taylor's quote....I believe in the soul, and I believe in the song....
I can't remember the whole thing, but it was a salute to the musicians who go out there for the love of the music..... These are the people that Uncleshag promotes.

There's a lot of great music here. Unfortunately, you'll probably never hear it on radio. I love the first song by Swampdawamp. Taylor's THE FALL is at 23:45. biggrin.gif
