Ashley and Derek Performing on "Good Day New York"

I hear that Ashley and Derek performed on "Good Day New York," today.  Did anyone in New York see the show?  Hope it is posted on "Good Morning New York's" website tomorrow.

It did! They also have a contest for Grease tix for those of us that live in the tri-state area. It ends Friday.

Thanks Eris!  They were wonderful!  Can't wait to get to Brooks Atkinson!  It was great to see them on the front of the Playbill.  I wonder if that was just for TV, or the Playbill will be that way!  It sure was great!biggrin

Actually, according to the rules, it ends July 31 which is today. Maybe I'll get lucky and not many people will enter biggrin.gif

I hope you all win!  Wish I could enter.  I emailed Playbill merchandise, and asked them if I could purchase a Playbill with Derek and Ashley.  We'll see if I get an answer.  I told them I saw it on New York Good Day.    I don't think I can wait till September to get one!biggrin

Agreed. Found this older video of the 4 new stars on Broadway. Their raw talents were evident even early on in the competion.

Interesting that you would that statement.  That is exactly what Kathleen Marshall said to Ashley in her first audition.  "You remind me of a young Meg Ryan."  Wish I could find the audition so you could hear it.  Ashley is a doll!biggrin

That doesn't surprise me, I found the resemblance rather striking when the Good Day New York interviewer was talking to her, most especially around the eyes smile  And yes, she IS a doll! biggrin

I just love Ashley's Hoplessly Devoted, even though she didn't get to sing the whole song.
She was my favorite on the Grease TV show and I can't wait to hear her sing the song live.

Someone posted the clip on youtube and this clip is longer than what is posted on the Fox site because it includes the tag at the end of the show with them talking about the Barbie dolls and the contest. Watch Derek when the host starts talking about how Marino Riveria of the Yankees is on the next day, Funny stuff.
