Broadway in Bryant Park

Hey all! For those of you who don't already know this thursday ( Aug. 14th) the cast of Grease is scheduled to perform at Broadway in Bryant Park. Broadway in Bryant Park is a FREE show where casts of a few Broadway shows perform a few songs from their shows for about an hour. This thursday the schedule is as follows:

Grease | Rent | Legally Blonde | Young Frankenstein | 13 (new show opening soon)

I went to one a few thursdays ago and i would say if you're not doing anything deffinitly check it out! When I went many people from the different shows were very opened to taking pictures, singing autographs, etc. so its a nice chance to talk with Ashley and Derek or anyone from another show you are a fan of! The show starts at 12:30 pm, however they do sound check a bit earlier then that and you can get a sneak peak before the show actually starts!

here is the Official link:

I wish I could but this is a lunchtime event and I'm at work at that time. I've missed nearly two full days of work because of my grandmother and I'll be missing tomorrow as well for the funeral. I can't just run off to NYC for this.

Thanks, Judy, I'm so exhausted right now and I'm looking forward to this all being settled.

Most people think, well you live in NYC and can get to Bryant park in 35 minutes, you should go but...
It sounds terrible to say, but when you live in NYC, you sometimes avoid places that have huge crowds. I deal fine with the crowds in Manhattan when I am walking down the streets, but not sure I want to stand in the park and be crushed! I rarely go to parades and events of this sort, if I can help it!

I will see it on the video!

That's either the express bus from Queens or the bus to the subway and onward to the city.

Is anyone planning on going to Bryant Park tomorrow? I was there a couple of weeks ago when GMT had the cast from RENT. The park was 3/4 empty, hopefully at lunchtime they draw a bigger crowd.
