I'm glad to hear Ace is doing good!I met him Sept.6 while I was there for a M&G with Taylor.He couldn't have been any nicer.I'm sure this will open a lot of doors for him.He already has that movie star look.Have fun Ace fans!

I wonder who was in for Ashley last night?  When Allie covered for her, she wore the blonde wig!

It looks as though Anna Aimee White was Sandy with Laura's wig!

No offense to Anna, but I am glad that if I didn't get to see Ashley that I saw Allie as "Sandy."  At least Allie was a familiar face, and Allie is blonde.  I like my Sandys to have blonde hair, like Olivia Newton-John. smile  Allie definitely bears a more physical resemblance to Ashley than Allie.  But I have no doubt that Ashley is the best!  She's got the right physical look plus so much more!  I can't wait to see her in the role!

What's really interesting is that Anna really has blonde hair!  I just looked in my Playbill.  I wonder why they don't put her in the blonde wig!

When I was viewing the photos, I noticed right away that there was an understudy. The dark hair was a dead giveaway.

I know that there are people who don't mind the dark hair for "Sandy."  And yes, I know that the original musical had a "Sandy" with brown hair.  But growing up, I loved Olivia Newton-John's "Sandy" and for me, that's what I want "Sandy" to look like.  Ashley is what "Sandy" should look like!  That's why she stood out to me right away.  But then I realized that there was so much more to her than having the right look.  She is a wonderful actress, singer, and dancer.  Plus, she is the sweetest person.  What other actress would have personally called her biggest fan to tell her that she was not going to be there to perform?  That meant the world to me!  Plus, she set it up so that we would still have our backstage tour.  I am so grateful to her and to Derek!  I just love Ashley, and I will go back.  smile
