Lauren something from the Legally Blonde television show was offered Sandy after she went into contract for the Legally Blonde touring company. Turned it down.
Yes, Allie is a smart and talented gal! I'm sure that they are other people from the TV GYTWTIW that would have been great in the tour and would love the opportunity! A lot of the cast members from that show have fans all over the country. Would have been smart for the Producers to offer some of the parts to them. Their fans would have loved to see them on tour. Cara Hille for example. I thought she had a beautiful voice and was adorable! I always thought she would make a great Frenchy!

Lauren wasn't in the Grease TV show was she?
Mr. E is talking about Lauren Zakrin, who came in 4th "Runner Up", if you will, in the Legally Blonde: Search For Elle Woods show on MTV. Very pretty girl with a huge Broadway Voice....she is going to be in the national tour for Legally Blonde, which kicks off soon. I was privileged to see Max & Laura's final performance of Grease, and that afternoon I had seen Legally Blonde and just LOVE that show!!!! I want to plan another trip just to come out and see it again, it was awesome, and everything a Broadway show should be I especially love the new Elle, Bailey Hanks; she definitely deserved to win!!!!!!
I tried to watch Legally Blonde when it was on MTV. Just couldn't get into it. There is nothing like watching a Broadway Show in the theatre. I think there was a lot lost in translation on the TV screen.
I am referring the the actual Broadway Show...not the Search for the New Elle.

Well at least you have your fond memories of Max and Laura's final show until something new comes along for them. Did you ever check to see if "LEGALLY BLONDE' has message boards like this one that you can join?
Here is the website Eris is talking about. Bailey Hanks sounds great! I will have to sign up to join that message board too. Check it out. Looks like there are lots of things to see on that website...and it's kept quite up to date. That is nice!

I'll be attending the Columbus, Ohio and Cincinnati shows. My girlfriend from Cincinnati called the minute she saw it posted and already had us tickets. She didn't get to go to New York so she is very, very happy that this show is going on the road. From the people that I have been in contact with, there are a lot so pleased they will have the opportunity to see Grease. It made my day when I heard they are touring.

In case some of you are going to the tour because you plan to see Taylor, he is not appearing in every city or every show. These are the dates he will not appear (posted by griz.)
From one of the Mods over on TOSP, here are the dates that Taylor won't be appearing in Grease, so take note if you're planning on going in the following cifies:
Minneapolis - Dec 30, 31, Jan 1 Baltimore - Feb 10 through Feb 15 Omaha - he will NOT appear in Omaha Los Angeles - Mar 18, 19 San Francisco - April 7, 8, 9 Appleton - he will NOT appear in Appleton Detroit - he will NOT appear in Detroit
Ace was actually offered to be in the touring company of the show, but insisted on Broadway. He went to NY to audition and heard the same day that he got the part. I don't know the part about Taylor's apartment, though.

I wish he was going to be touring in december when I see the show in Columbus.
I feel the same way about Ashley Spencner. She is a doll. I was in the crowd at the stage door last week. She saw me, waved, finished signing, then ran over to me and threw her arms around me. Turns out she knew about my being in the hospital, and was concerned and glad I was up and around again.
Later that night, I met Allie, and SHE knew I had been sick. She said evryone ,i.e., my friends from GYTOTIW, know. Our community is small and news hits the grape vine quickly. I love being part of the theatre botherhood.

According to Will Blum's facebook (Roger), he will also be joining the touring company in December.
Alright! This is good news! I really enjoyed Will's performance and look forward to seeing him in Columbus and Cincinnati.
BBS420: I hope to see you in Columbus. The snow must hold out for Santa because I'll have a three hour drive. Doesn't sound like much, but in snow or ice that could be a problem for me.
