The picture below is of Kristen, when she drove from her home to Canton, Ohio to attend Ashley's finale party! The local Canton/Massillon papers were very impressed that Ashley had such loyal fans! Her name was even mentioned in one of the papers as having come the farthest way to support Ashley. Congrats Kristen!

It was quite fun to be at that finale party. There were a couple hundred people there. Big screen TV...news media, tv and radio. It was really great that Kristen drove to be with us. You could have driven down to. There were a lot of people involved in planning that party. It was a great time!

It was awesome! Ashley had wonderful support from her friends and family. And everyone is so sweet! You can see why Ashley is such a great person. Not only does she have a wonderful personality, but she has great people around her!

Kristen, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Just don't get your hopes too high. Backstage is TINY and it doesn't seem as "magical" as one might think. I was a little let down my first time backstage at Broadway. Just be prepared to have to move aside a lot so people can walk by. There's a lot of hustle and bustle back there after a show.

Just don't rush out to the stage door. Take your time because they need to get changed. You wouldn't want to surprise anyone while they're dressing. Wait, I take that back. Maybe I should rush to the stage door. Haha.

I just realized that I never even said thank you on this thread! I did in the chat, but not in the thread! Yes, I would love love love to go backstage!!!!! Thank you so so so so much!!!! hindsight is 20/20. I wish I had watched the show, I would have definately driven to Canton for the finale party.

From what I have read on here...there are fans...and then there is Ashley's Biggest Fan...and that is Kristen....and from what I hear, she has supported her since the days of GYTOTIW...never wavering.

Actually the rain may work out in Kristen's favor. With all the rain she may actually see more of and chat more with the cast backstage.

It will be such a wonderful experience in such an oh so cozy place!

Yep Shadi, those were my thoughts exactly when I wrote the post. The size doesn't matter at all because backstage will be a warm, friendly and cozy place few will ever see! I'd much rather be in a warm and cozy environment than one that is open and cold!

Glad you liked them! :) I'm so glad that Ashley is doing better!!!! I'm glad that she won't have to miss too many shows! Hopefully, she is not in too much pain either.

As to when I can go back, as soon as possible! It's like I got a taste of the show, loved it, but want the full meal! Ashley as "Sandy" would make the whole meal!!! Looking at the calendar.....
