While I love Ace to death, and I am here because of him, I think it's time to stop going backwards. Let's focus on Ace the Broadway actor/singer/dancer now and not go back to the Idol days. I thank Idol for bringing him into our lives, but it's time to move on. I think he would say that himself. He told me that this is the new direction for his life. Thisi s where he is NOW. So, can we talk about Grease-Ace?? And stop the bickering? What is this battle between Chris fans/Ace fans/Taylor fans??? It has nothing to do with the show.

Linny4Ace, No one is focusing on Idol days, but I was just posting some pics of Ace that I had saved from long ago. As much as he's moved on from Idol, it's always nice to remember where we first saw him, and became fans, and since this thread was about "eye candy", those pics fit right in. As for any bickering, it's all one sided, and that's the way it's staying. As you can see in other threads, even ones about recipes, these posters are here for one reason, and that is to cause trouble. But they're being ignored and will continue to be.

Ace is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, due to his collaboration with Chris Daughtry on "It's Not Over." It is perfectly appropriate to celebrate their friendship here, as a tribute to Ace's many talents. Belittling Ace's writing abilities is petty. All this verbal abuse by a couple of obsessed Taylor "fans" (they aren't really his fans) only shows how crazed with hatred they are. It doesn't reflect badly at all on the person they are trying to burn at the stake. In fact, it makes her somewhat of a hero, for continuing to post here as an Ace fan. The more they attack, the worse they look. So, folks, just let them rant and rave and we'll all continue to post around them. Now they'll have a lot to say to me; I'm chuckling already.

When I see the show next month I'll be able to compare it with my August trip.

Very well said, Karen. We shouldn't let the trolls control what gets posted in this thrread, when the only reason they're here is to harrass. Let's just ignore and enjoy the pics.

I have something to say about all of this insanity.
I've been reading posts on all sections of the board. I keep seeing the SP referring to what happened in the past. I wasn't here then, so I can't comment on that. But I've been reading old posts, and I don't see any attacking or harassment of the SP by anyone. Maybe the posts have been deleted. As I said, I wasn't here then so I don't know.

What I will say, is even if that did happen. Does that justify what you (the SP trolls) are doing on these boards right now? As an Ace fan, I would like to be able to come to this board and enjoy posting about Grease without having to witness people being attacked viciously without any provocation. The only vile posts I've seen on these boards are from the SP trolls. Like it or not, it's a known fact that the majority of Daughtry fans are also Ace fans (and vice-versa). They are here because they are fans of Ace. I haven't seen any of them do anything except try to ignore the vile harassment that's being posted on this board by the SP trolls. As far as I can see, this attacking is one sided.

It seems that the SP trolls are on a mission to get this board shut down. Maybe that is what they want. Taylor's run has ended, so they don't care. Please have a little consideration for the people who are on these boards because they are genuine fans. That's all I ask. Leave the past in the past. And keep what happens on other boards off of this one. I can only judge on what I am seeing right now. And what I see is happening is completely disgusting, not to mention childish, and selfish.

If I wanted to, I could go dig up lots of very nasty posts made by the hypocrites that are following me around, but I'm not here to disrupt the board, so that's why I'm not doing it. I signed up in July and made maybe one post, until the time when Ace joined the cast, and if they think I was here just to harrass them, my question is, why didn't I do it then, and try and disrupt their last few months of Taylor's time in Grease? The answer is, because it's not the reason I was here.

I have started staying away from this board some because of the mindless bickering. Too much of it everywhere, it seems. I love Ace dearly, and it makes me very sad that such a kind, caring, compassionate man seems to be surrounded by pettiness.

I may not particularly be a Daughtry or Taylor fan, but I wouldn't out and out insult them for no reason. They are Ace's friends, and as such, I respect them. (Although I *do* have a personal reason to NOT respect Taylor, but that's a whole 'nother story that I won't get into.)

And I would like to add, which has been stated many times before too: IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY, IGNORE IT! Just skip over the post or the thread. Quit feeding their egos. They can't fight, if they don't have anyone to fight with.

Papsett, I really sorry that all of this has gone on. It seems like a few people are determined to ruin the boards for all of us, and even though we ignore, they just keep it up. I was enjoying chatting with you, and seeing all those great pics you took, and I hope that the ones causing trouble will see your post and really think about what they're doing, and leave all of us to enjoy these threads in peace.

Tracy... thank you for pulling out 3 of the BEST from that DVD... I know it's hard top take a bad picture of Ace, but those 3 do things to my blood pressure best left unsaid. Especially the top one... there is something about it- expression, hair, cowboy boots (which aren't showing in the cropped version but are there in the whole thing- that drives me freakin' CRAZY...
