No doubt, you're all aware by now - but just in case -

There's a new Taylor audio blog from France up on THHeadquarters. It's short, but sweet, and the inference is that the music playing in the background is from the new cd, and it's been described as: intriguing, great, catchy, lovely, different, and not in the least bit poppy! I'm sure it will be up someplace else soon, but for now you have to hear it at THHQ. As Taylor says "Au Revoir!"

I'm feeling a bit nastalgic today and was thinking that if someone told me two years ago that I would still be following the career of Taylor Hicks in 2008,I probably wouldn't have believed it.Who could have envisioned two years ago that today we would still be waiting with so much anticipation for the arrival of another album . I know to some this may sound crazy,but I had almost completely lost faith in the music industry.I was perfectly content with my limited music collection from the past. There were some artists who interested me but not enough to hold my attention for too long.Along comes TH,and I'm literally stopped in my tracks the night I first heard his voice ! My husband and I are blown away by his audition.We ,my husband & I ,see him as new hope for an industry that has succumbed to music gone wild.There is nothing better than being able to clearly hear the lyrics and the voice of an artist of substance.To get lost in a song and want to hear it over and overIMHO,is what it's all about !

Haven't been here in ages. Read about Grease closing;

feel really bad, great cast and it was wonderful that I had the opportunity seeing them perform. I'll pray that maybe that there will be a surprise and the show will be extended.

Ventured into the other thread to say something and ran out. It's the same old story....... All the Taylor Hicks fans that post here are really nice people, I've met many in person and online - proud to call them my friends. They won't start with anyone unless provoked. Sometimes it's hard to choose the right words on a message board that will communicate an innocuous statement. Being courteous doesn't always work.

In any event, I'll miss Grease in New York. Hope the economy gets better and they bring back Grease again. It's a legendary production and wish all of the cast and everyone here well. peace:
