The Best Day Ever!!!!!

I just got back from seeing "Grease!!!!!!!!!!!"  Ashley was absolutely amazing as "Sandy!!!!!!!"  Seeing Ashley perform was everything that I expected!!!  The wait was so so so worth it!!!!  She is so talented, and I enjoyed her performance so much!!!  All of her solos were excellent!  And I loved the transition from sweet "Sandy" to sexy "Sandy!!!!"  As I have known since watching Ashley in "Grease:  You're the One That I Want,"  Ashley is the whole package.  She can sing, dance, and act so well!  I was also able to have dinner with Ashley before the show, and she couldn't have been nicer!!!  I was also able to go backstage after the show!!!  This whole day was so special to me, and I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity that I had!!!  And I thank Ashley for being so sweet to her fans!!!!!  smile

I might have a couple!  My friend took one of me and Ace outside, so I have to get it from her later.  smile  Ace was really good as Kenickie!  And I have to comment that he was so sweet with his fans outside.  It was really nice to see how he worked with little kids.  He would hold them for pictures!  It was cute to watch!

Ashley was really sweet with her fans too!  They are such a great cast!  I really enjoyed watching them come out and interact with the fans!  smile

I didn't mean to railroad this thread. Sorry. Yes, Ashley has always been very sweet when I have been at the show. I love that they all come out to greet everyone. It's been a really good thing for the show, I think. It makes people happy they went.

Awwww, Ashley is so pretty. I'm sure she makes a good Sandy---my sister will find out when she see's the show tomorrow. She was very nice when I got to meet her, and very pretty in person smile.gif

Thanks so much, Shadi!  I enjoyed my trip so much!!!  I've talked about my trip all day at work!  I miss being there!  smile  I'm just so grateful to Ashley for spending the time with me!  She really is a sweetheart.

Congrats Kristen!! I can identify with the feeling you have from hanging out with Ashley! I get it when I see Ace! I loved Ashley in Grease, and Derrick was great too! They look the part and are very talented. I didn't get to meet Ashley when I was there because she left her dressing room while we were taking photos with Derrick. I'm looking forward to meeting her when I go back in Nov. Glad to hear you enjoyed Ace. He ROCKS!!

Yes, sometimes it is hard for Derek and Ashley to come out together anyway....because Ashley has a lot more unchanging to do than Derek....hope you get to meet her in November when you go. From what I hear, Derek usually comes out first. Very hard to coordinate sometimes, especially when the cast members have friends and family there.

Ace is magical! What a handsome guy he is! Saw him last weekend! He is really a great actor too! Loved his performance.

I think the trick is to be patient. It may take awhile for them to come out, but it's well worth the wait!  smile

I enjoyed meeting the dresser!  She does seem like a really nice person.  smile  There are a lot of great people there.  When Derek gave us the backstage tour in September, everyone was really nice.  The people who did the laundry were really sweet too!  Their jobs are important too, and I know the cast appreciates them.  They make their jobs a lot easier and make the environment a pleasurable one.  aww
