I had such pain in my shoulder, I would cry, especially after being at work all day (telephone operator). The only drug that would have relieved the pain would have been a narcotic, which my doctor didn't want to prescribe. I tried physical therapy, which helped for about a half hour, then it would start hurting again.cry.gifso I went to see an orthopoedic surgeon, he said I would need surgery, when I was in enough pain, I would be back. I sceduled it that day. I still get chiropractic help and massage, but I am 100% better.smile.gif

Glad you are better, BBS!  smile

Thanks Kristen, it's tough being in pain constantly.cry.gif

BBS - that's exactly what I did when I went to the orthopedist and he said I had a major tear. I just wanted to be out of pain! Hard to do the simpliest things when you are in pain.

Kristen, I read the thread on Broadway World and I am so sorry that you were beaten up verbally just for being such and ardent fan. Anyone should be so lucky to have a friend or a fan like you. That Girl really hates Ashley doesn't she, too bad to spend so much time hating.

Right you are, AshleyFan. It makes no sense. I feel your pain, Kristen. It's hard to believe people waste so much of their non-productive lives hating....especially hating people they don't even know. hmm.gif

Imagine my surprise when I entered into a thread on Jose and I find my name mentioned! Why do Ashley's friends and family have to turn everything into a discussion about Ashley? For the record, I don't hate Ashley, I hate that this message board has turned into "the Ashley Spencer love fest message board and little other discussion will be tolerated." I also have a huge issue with people acting like they are giving an objective review when they aren't. When Kristen posted her review of Ashley's performance she left out the fact that she was "Ashley's biggest fan," before she even saw the show. Someone who read her post asked if she was Ashley's mother and I set the record straight.

I guess I should get back to the topic that this thread was supposed to be about-Jose I hope you feel better really soon!

Just an update for those of you who have asked: Jose is doing very well. His surgery went very well and he should be up an at 'em in no time.

Thank you all for your kind words and interest in his health.

Anyone have any idea when Jose will return? With all the people leaving, being ill or injured, the show is always 'shifting'. I enjoyed Jose and hope he'll be better and back SOON!

I did Judy, it was supposed to be very simple, but I had a torn acl, and I was off work for 3 months. The only thing that helped was finally going to physical therapy.smile.gif

I had knee surgery last year. The knee that was operated on is doing pretty well, but the other knee gets vey achy at bedtime. I think it might be because my gate has changed, although I am not really aware of it.

you might be putting more weight on the good knee without realizing it. that actually is very common.smile.gif

Your gate most likely did change, mine did from a ruptured disc. Actually I think one leg is a bit shorter than the other ! Glad that you're doing well !

BBS....Glad everything worked out well with your surgery and recovery !
